.... today's post is a little different. HiveTools will always be free without login for HIVE users. Today I have a premium tool for you - this will require login to even see on our site (impressive right?)

So we have taken the deEncrypter to the next level. We will help you scrape your wallet tx's and even store the encrypted messages locally for your ease of use. This way, each time a user logs in we can just quickly grab the newest stuff.
I have to be honest, "the first time" stuff was a real bear. We are hoping and working to connect the back-end up to our own witness server, but in the mean time we are hopefully very politely asking local and public nodes for this info.
Refresh and keep going. I know it might be slow and tedious for deep OG wallets. We will get better at this. Remember we are never loading the same data twice.
Full transparecy, the first time in testing it took me 9 reloads to get up to present day, and the only fun part was seeing old users that I communicated with along the way, in this way. It is unlikely that many people will have as deep of a wallet history as me, but I know that the ones that do are likely the target market for this tool.
We have updated our scrape script several times during the making of this post, and possibly it will not be as traumatic for others in the future - but let me know down in the comments.
But now our server is storing all my encrypted messages. It doesn't know my key and can never decrypt them. Even if I can see them, this is just my "local data", which I can dump anytime with the "Purge All" button, or one by one for sensitive messages.
All my messages will live here in my "mailbox", and next time I log in, will automatically update to live. This is a handy tool for anyone choosing to use encrypted wallet memos for communication.

Yes this tool "will" cost some micro amount of money, and we have been working on our "wallets" and our pricing. If anyone wants "gold" to test this out, I am happy to send some, just reach out to me.
