It was a fine late afternoon after my work from my company and I was relieved that it was the last day of my work, which is Saturday, and the next day will be our rest day for all or most of the employees. I was walking along the road of the busy streets in the town that I worked on and thought of many things like going to this place, that place, or wherever I went because it is fun going to different kinds of places after my long day of work.
While I was walking in the streets, I remember my family in my family and I tried calling them and giving some brief "I missed you" from my family. I was hesitating if I will go home or not since there are many laundries that I needed to wash and the night is already there.
While contemplating, I asked my family if they want to eat Jollibee and they said they like eating the Jollibee because Jollibee foods are their favorite food.
I told to myself, after contemplating, that it is better to go home than to stay in my boarding house because it's not always that I will see my family every day and these laundry that I will wash is every day after work.
So, I went to Jollibee and ordered food menu and at the same time, I cannot forget to order my daughter's favorite toy in Jollibee. Jollibee toys is my daughter's favorite toy and whenever she saw one Jollibee toy, her face filled with smile and jump many times while going to the toy that I gave her.
What I ordered are these fried chicken meal, mix and match, and then this kiddie meal. There were couple of customers that dined in to this store, some were ordering their food, some were eating, and some were waiting.
After a long line and buying these Jollibee products food, I went to the bus terminal to ride a bus to go home to my old hometown where my family lived. It's not that far away and I need to travel for more or less than an hour on going there.
I ride on an air conditioned bus and I really hate riding this air-conditioned bus because I might get puked from the smell around this bus. I prefer bus with no air-conditioned but I don't have a choice because I need to return home.
I know that my family loved this small pasalubong for them and when I went home, my daughter is as excited as me while seeing me and also when she saw that there is a toy that I also bought for her, too.
She was jumping in joy when my daughter saw me and then she said that she has another new toy now. She was assembling the toy together with the old toys that she have. While my wife was also happy that I also brought her favorite food from Jollibee, which is the burger steak, and ate our dinner together.
Going home was worth it and my tiredness from work was replace to happiness after seeing, hugging, and talking with them. It hits different when you see them face to face rather than calling them on my phone.
We enjoyed the rest of the night talking about anything while my daughter was playing with her toys like assembling and disassembling the Jollibee toys in front of us.
