Photo Essay - Blooming Apple Trees

in Photo-essay3 days ago

I am constantly excited every year when the apple trees blossom in the orchard. It usually lasts about a week, usually at the end of April or the beginning of May.

This year was no different. I took these pictures in the last week of April. The conditions were ideal: sunny but slightly cloudy around midday. It would be a pity if I didn't post this.

It's a feast of nature and flowers, a visual splendour to be shared, especially if you can watch it for the few days it lasts.

Interestingly, as my mother says, these apple trees are very old, around 90, some even over 100 years old, and they are ancient apple varieties. They flower very luxuriously, but in recent years, the yield has been decreasing. They are not as prolific as they used to be, and they have never been sprayed with any pest-control agents, either artificial or natural.
There are fewer apples, they are not very pretty to look at, but they are much tastier than the ones from the store :)

Here, I used the HDR Toning adjustment in Photoshop on the photos. Too many settings exist, so I just left it on the default.
The colours are more vivid, I think. Or maybe it's too artificial?

The left tree in the photo has an ivy parasite on its trunk, which will eventually destroy the apple tree, but it's still flowering nicely now.

Of course, it's not without bees. They are essential for pollination. If they were not there, there would be no apples.
I should have recorded the buzzing sound, too; it is all very vivid.

These magnificent white apple flowers are very beautiful to look at, beautiful colors and a natural decoration with buds. Those distant white clouds in the sky are very beautiful to look at. The sunshine is spreading all around to make the trees and flowers more exciting. It is really fascinating to see this beautiful pollination. Surely the bees suck their honey and double the honey cycle. The flowers of these ancient plants are a symbol of great natural beauty. Yes, you are right, there are also such flowering plants in our city which are huge in size and those flowers do not need any spraying. Thank you very much for presenting this wonderful gift of flowers to all of us.

Best regards @mdakash62
