Hi, @melinda010100, I agree that the points are very good and that they also help new users a lot.
That is one of the reasons why I recommend to new users the use of Ecency.
Since besides being a friendly platform, which can be used in your own language, it gives points, which can be used to promote the posts, to make HP rental, and can also be used as incentives in contests and prizes.
They really are a very good thing.

I wish I'd started engagement and posting on this amazing app called ecency since March when I joined hive

But just started last month June and I'm happy I've fallen in love with it

I do agree. Ecency points are great. Plus, there are other interfaces that rewards with their token too. I guess, its best if you can find the best combination that works for you.

Hi Melinda. Thank you so much. I'm working hard at this and it is all still quite new to me. I'm stumbling in the managing of the community that we we created. (coneccioncultural). If you have already posted some guides, or know where I can find them, please just point me in the right direction. I created the community on peakd, because initially that was easier for me to figure out. I hope that wasn't done in error. What I'm trying to do then is cross-post the things that I'm sharing from @becksandmeli as the administrator account of the community. And the basic things of setting up the images in the community, avatar, etc...and I also can't seem to "gift" or "delgate" ecency points to the community, if that is even possible...nor to the becksandmeli account that is in common with my colega.
On a personal note, I lived for a few years in N. California...and worked at the Bug Lodge and Hostel...I just noticed in your info that you are from the region. How interesting. Big hugs. Thanks so much for taking the time to help us!
