How do you get fiat in and out of Hive?

So far, I didn't fund it from fiat. My whole hive(engine) portfolio is built up through blogging and a small piece because of sales of some ingame (non-crypto) items.

I have no plans on pulling coins out of the Hive ecosystem so far. First want to grow my Hive(power) to 100K which will take quite some time as I am now hovering around 2k HP. My goal is to reach 3k hp at years end (by blogging) and I hope some p2e items will take off as well. If these would take off, i should have to be able to reach between 5k and 10k hp. Will see though what the (alt) bull run brings..

Same! I like your goal, too. I might adopt it but if I do, something's gotta change! Last year I did not teach my goal of being at 2k by new years. Wow, were are actually very close in terms of hive power! Good luck!

I reached my goal of 1.5k by shuffling around some stuff on Hive-Engine and using these hive to power up.

I had a big boost of my blogging rewards at the beginning of this year because of extra spare time. This slowed down significantly since the beginning of February, so will re-evaluate halfway this year.
Though 3k HP at the end of the year is my absolute minimum, I would rather adjust my target to 3.5K HP (or maybe even 4k if I find some extra time)

This is an interesting one for me. So far I've only put things "in". That isn't too hard as you can get fiat in all over the place by buying BTC, ETH, LTC etc. I was just curious as to how people get it back out. I'm fairly certain I can do it through Coinbase if I have to but I was hoping to learn a few other options. I like the credit card option. Where do I find that?

Incidentally, I still don't see these missions come across my inleo feed. I almost missed the one I suggested... lol

Thanks for suggestin this mission. I'm using the credit card options that is offered by crypto.com. It works pretty nice.

When we create videos, we often don't add leofinance tag because it is not elegible for LEO when not created on inleo.

I use Binance. In their P2P trade, I can get my local currency. I have not tried anything different than this, to be honest. Although I know that some accounts on Hive offer trades to get bolivars.

So far I have tried moving fiat out of Hive via Crypto.com. Assuming we have SWAP.HIVE, change to SWAP.BNB, thereafter withdraw from Tribaldex/deposit into Crypto.com. From Crypto.com, the BNB can be sold into fiat and the fiat can easily to be transferred in bank accounts.

Finally somebody who uses crypto.com as well. I go to hive engine and then I buy swap.ltc. I withdraw swap.ltc directly to crypto.com and then I add it to my credit card :-)

If it weren't for recent developments in eXode game I don't think I'd have an answer for this. Elindos integrated the Stripe service which really is there to help onboard completely new users to the game and Hive and give them the option to purchase assets with fiat. I used this service to purchase a number of second layer tokens with fiat.

I've always used Binance, the easiest way to get in and out with FIAT currency. But I stopped doing these transactions after the government sanctioned a 15% tax on cryptocurrencies. I'm looking into other ways of getting in and out, and the Brazilian community #hivebr is developing a P2P tool for this purpose.

To get fiat to Hive, I could go P2P on Binance but I don't do it since I find it a hassle. Instead I would fund a local crypto trading platform with cash from an e-wallet then buy XRP and transfer to Binance. In Binance I will sell XRP and buy Hive then transfer to Hive Keychain. To get fiat out, I will do the reverse.

I haven't really withdrawn things from Hive so far. I did spend some money on Splinterlands before I really got into publishing much on Hive and that went through their own system. Although if I had to, I would probably swap to LTC and then send that over to an exchange.

The first thing I have to say is that I don't do this very often.I used to use Blocktrades, but now that that's no longer possible, I've used Binance a couple of times, but through a friend because I don't have a Binance account anymore. I contacted them a couple of times, but nothing. I am thinking of trying to send BTC from HE to my BTC address on the Iconomi platform and from there I can send fiat to my bank.
Of course, if Hive will go to $5 minimum 😜

To get fiat into Hive, I generally deposit fiat into my Coinbase account. Then I use one of the exchangers (usually SimpleSwap or StealthEX) to swap for HIVE. To this point I have never taken any fiat out of Hive, but if I did, I would just reverse the process.

I deposit Rupiah (IDR) into binance, it became BIDR. then convert it to USDT. after that to HIVE then send them to hive accounts.

There was another way I have use, its Transact. But it is too expensive, just tried in the past to get some Splinterlands Cards.

How to get fiat out? 2 years on hive I haven't taken any money out, so I think I am in no position to talk on this part.

I use Binance. It's the easiest and fastest route for me. I remember using BSC a few times through the Multi-Token Bridge to bring some funds to Hive. I'm exploring some other options because Binance might get blocked from my country.

So far I've always done the conversions through binance, in this case sending hive there and exchanging it for my local currency (the Brazilian real), now putting it from outside to inside hive is a bit tighter because of the values, it doesn't pay much to exchange real for dollar and then buy hive or make some theoretically direct purchase, so the deal is to post and organically chase it.

I guess the simplest way would be via Binance, if you have access to it and you go through KYC. I'm not sure if you can buy HIVE directly with fiat on Binance, but you can buy BTC or stablecoins, whatever we have pairs with on Binance.

Since I haven't updated my KYC on Binance, I looked for alternative ways to do it.

One way is through Crypto.com. It has the advantage of topping up a debit card which has some benefits (depending on your tier), but to get from Hive to crypto.com you need to go through another ecosystem like BSC or use SPS which is listed there. In both cases I assume there are some hefty fees, but I haven't gone through this process yet, so I haven't checked them.

One additional way I found today was from MEXC (without KYC) to a Revolut card (via USDT). The fees seem relatively low.

I can't buy hive in Canada. What I do I use a platform called Shakepay to buy BTCs, they transfer BTC out of the platform covering the fees. Hive engine receives the BTC, I sell it for swap.hive and done.
Way out I was using either LTC or BCH at hive engine to coinbase and withdrawing it.
But lately I wrote a post testing v4v.app to transfer HBD directly into BTC lightining network. I paid a credit card bill using a platform in here that receives through lightining network creating invoices to pay bills, transferring to bank account and other things.
