I spent the past two days literally going to and fro the rest room.
I woke up Sunday midnight with an unbearable pain in my tummy that made me rush to the comfort room. I vomitted my Sunday lunch and dinner. I even had diarrhea.
I couldn't recall how many times I went back to the rest room to relieve myself.
All of this because...
...I am acidic.
This means I had to give up my very first comfort food, COFFEE.
Plain brewed coffee to jumpstart my day!
Yes, I am a coffee addict. I can't usually go a day without coffee. Worst, I can't have a good night's sleep without coffee.
But because of what happened, I knew I had to give it up.
To help me move on, let me share some of my memories with coffee:
Dalgona Coffee which became famous during the pandemic. I made lots of this to stop my boredom of being stuck at home when the pandemic struck. I paired it with my home made pan-cooked hawaiian pizza. Included in the photo is my cat, Uno. Smells good right, Uno?
Enjoying a freshly brewed Arabica Coffee in my grandparent's house paired with sweet camote in brown sugar dip, placed in a traditional bowl, Coconut Shell.
Two cups of brewed coffee for breakfast with my hubby paired with loaf bread and fried eggs and bacon. Coz coffee gets better when we're together.
A cup of cappucinno while in a cafe and reviewing for my next subject.
A cup of freshly brewed coffee with two big balls of silvanas. Perfect! I needed a coffee refill on this.
Two cups of Dalgona Coffee for my husband and me.
I'm gonna miss coffee so much. Till we meet again, soon.😿
P.S. I'm feeling better now.
