In the neighboring village of Longara, where I live, there is not the most beautiful Christmas tree in the world.
However, it is one of those Christmas trees that is very original, because instead of Christmas balls, it has wooden circles hung on it with the name of the house or family in the village written on them.
I think this original idea is great, because for me, it shows the symbolism of uniting all the families of the village under a unique and integrating object that represents values of union and brotherhood, as is the Christmas tree.
And also, as an extra point, the shadows cast by this tree on sunny days allows me to have one more entry in the #SMASh contest organized by @melinda010100, which I think I have participated in all the editions of this year 2024.
Merry Christmas, fellow shadowhunters.
