August 10th, 2024I didn't notice any new delegations or delegation upticks this week, been a long time since that was the case. I have been busy trying to free up more time so I can resume blogging, have more time for hobbies, go to sleep before the AM hours, and many more things that will bring me a higher quality of life. Our building crew is coming back soon so that we can finish putting the awning on our future lodge, but other than that we likely don't have the funds to finish this project due to HIVE's current dip.
That is the way life goes though, you work hard for years and plan carefully, then everything goes wrong at the last possible minute. Well, I am still not sure what to do because I can't earn enough from Hive to finish our project and support the family, so it may eventually mean I have to move away and start a teaching hustle in a nearby town, visit the family on weekends, etc., not ideal.
Who knows, the price of HIVE could suddenly rise and for the first time I could actually be in possession of liquid HIVE during a value surge. The odds of that are slim though, so I'll be working on an idea to keep ASEAN Hive going while I continue to keep my family and I out of dire straits. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 166,906, and total delegated HP is 151,970 HP (121,307 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
