Splinterland's: Foundation pack opening.
It's a cold, wintry Sunday and I decided to open some "Foundation" packs to check my luck in the game. Good thing about the foundation card is that, they can be used in both the modern league and the Frontier league. Since the energy counters of both of these leagues are also separate, so you can play in both leagues daily and get on the leaderboards of both leagues. Playing Frontier League rewards in Frontier cards and playing in the Modrn league will reward you in the "Glints", in game currency that can be used to shop rewards cards.
The best thing is that the Foundation packs are still cheap, At present you can buy the foundation pack under 200 DEC but on other hand, quantity of foundation pack available in the market is too low. Any bulk order can shoot the price of packs as the inventory in market is limited. For anyone who wants to invest in the Foundation cards, keep an eye on both the card packs market and the card market, and try to buy when you get a good deal. Avoid impulse buys that can drive the price up in a single day. Instead make purchase on multiple days and give sellers the opportunity to put more inventory for sale.
So here are the cards that I get opening 5 packs.
It consist of a common Gold Foil, 4 Archons and 1 Epic card. Based on the price of the foundation pack of 11 cents, it is a kind of breakeven point when I check the card value on peakmonster. With this, I am able to upgrade my "Spitting camel" ,"Port Guardian" and "Twisted Vester night" to level 3. All of these are the common cards.
Since my Archons are Level 2 and in Splinterlands, the amount of card required to level up increases almost exponential of 2, I guess I have to wait some more time before I can do archon upgrades.
Anyway, I guess, I will try my luck with Glints by opening rare rewards cards. If I got Gold foil card, I will sell it to fund the foundation archons.
