Splinterland's : A short-lived victory.
I do not remember when it was actually happened but when I reached the GOLD 1 league of the Frontier league, I got the feeling that I have become invincible in this game. To be honest, it kept me wondering how with only 1 summoner in level 3 and rest of them in level 2, I am ruling this game? May be I am playing Godlike (borrowed this term from quake3/unreal, do not remember which one) so that no opponent can stand against me.
Anyways, when there is victory, and you unlock the new league, then you got the loot chests as rewards. I got 15 chests as rewards. Rewards that started with Foundation Energy, continued to the foundation energy for next 11 chests. I was wondering if it will be going to all 15 chests of Foundation energy but from chest 12 onwards, I got the rewards card but all of them were the common cards.
Even though this chest is full of green, there is no complaint about it. Actually, my bad days started after unlocking this league, as I started depleted of wins, Luck so bad that I am even losing the mirror combination too instead of draw or winning. Initially what look like that whole cosmos was working with me to make me win is now actually working against me. From Gold 1, I dropped to Gold 3, and unable to complete all 3 daily quests. In fact some days, I was able to complete 1 quest only as I guess from 18 battles, I only won 5 and on another day I won only 9 battles, 10th win never came so that I can daily rewards of second quest and I ran out of the energy.
To be honest, I am not surprised by my defeats, In many cases my level 2 Archons are battling level 4 Archons. Even for level 2, some of the cards are not maxed for level 2. So I know inefficiencies exist on my account and slowly I am working towards to close these inefficiencies but it hurt more to fall from top instead of struggling or making your way to to gradually.
