At the moment there are 26 LEN tokens in the prize pot for the Liotes Power Challenge 2025.
If you want to learn more about the hack of ironshield's account check this post:

Happy birthday @paloma I hope you had a cracking time and a wonderful year ahead!
I heard about ironshield and also discord accounts being compromised. That really is shame. For my crypto transactions I always have wallet guard running in the background to alert me, I wonder if Hive has something similar. It stopped me losing my MM wallet contents a couple of years ago.
There are some safeguards like the recovery account and the different keys but if both main and recovery account gets hacked it's probably that there was a direct access to the computer. I can't explain it otherwise...
Never give up! My witness vote with you guys!
And of course Happy Birthday to @palomap3
Aww What a surprise!! Thank you very much for the congratulations. At least we have a small celebration since the Liotes news of the week is not very good. Scammers are always lurking…
I'm more interested in how the accounts were compromised so as to be able to better safeguard myself.
I would also like to know how it happened. For having both account and recovery account hacked with the general password, I think that either his phone or his computer were accessed directly.
That is a very bad news for the community and also for ironshiled, I hope that he could get his account back and also his fund.
Happy Birthday @palomap3 I wish you have a wonderful birthday celebration. :)
Ahh not so good start of the week, i guess.
But i am sure, it will pass and liotes witness with jump back to back it was.
As for the tokens, they will also recover

Well, sometimes things are not all perfect lol. We hope that we can give better news in the coming weeks :-)
It sucks to hear that ironshield got hacked and the recovery account was also compromised. I guess the HE witness votes are going to be moved around due to the issues. I think you did a decent job of staying up, but I don't know if many others use your node.
The witness votes are rather political than practical. Since there are only few players that hold WB, it's an intense game and we will see how things evolve.
Happy birthday @palomap3! 😎🎂🎁🎉
What exactly does it mean "his funds" have been liquidated?
Have they been burned by your side or by whoever found out about the hacking?
The hacker sold ALL his assets on the markets and he had a lot of LEN and LENM tokens in the liquidity pool... It was a big selloff...
Unfortunately, the hacker took it all from his account... Over $15K 😞
Ugh... a lot of money ... is it possible to block swap.hive transactions or he sold outside?
Maybe this was conected somehow with HE issues?
I don't think that these things are connected... His HIVE password was breached (don't know how he didn't say) and the hacker converted his H-E tokens into BTC and already moved out... Don't know the rest, to be honest...
It's not a bad idea to restrict access, but that raises some other questions... Also, hackers can always shuffle new accounts, move funds, etc.
Thanks for the explanation. Yes, if he converts to BTC, then it can go in minutes...
Sorry to hear about @ironshield! Damn... both accounts?
... and about your HE witness dropping out of top 20. My couple of WorkerBees are delegated to Zoltan's Pool, so as far as I remember on Hive-Engine the voting rights on governance are delegated away too. But obviously, he votes on his own witness node.
At least we get to say "Happy Birthday" to Paloma!
Keep going guys! This isn't the end of the world.
Keep going guys! This isn't the end of the world.
Don't worry we have seen worse :-). The problem with HE nodes is that about 7 new witnesses came into the picture. 4 of them run by the same guy and he bought tons of WB. We will see. Anyways we managed without witness rewards in the past without too much troubles :-)
Sorry to hear about Iron shield getting hacked like that... You can see a big withdrawal from his Hive wallet and the name of the account it's going to. I did a quick google and found this:

Hmm. Not sure if that's how it happened in this case, but take care, everybody.

It's always bad news to see people hacked. Especially when it's not only the main account but the recovery account as well...
