Namaste to all Phone Photography and Nature lovers.🙏
Today only I came to know about this community through a beautiful post written by @melinda010100 after reaching here I came to know that Linda is also the admin of this community. So first of all thanks to Linda for creating this lovely community. At Least for a budding photographer like me, this community is truly amazing. haha!
So, as per Google Lens this flower is known as Tephrosia Purpurea. I really didn't know all this, I am telling you upfront, that I am writing only what Google has said to me because who would have the information about every such plant.
Like every day, I was on an evening walk and saw something light pink in the grass, so I bent down to see it properly. And in the very first picture, you can also see an ant near the flower on a leaf and this will give you an idea of the size of this flower.
But I was surprised to see it because it is very similar to a flower in my garden which you can see in the image below. There is a big difference in size between these two, this flower in my garden is about 2-3 inches in full bloom and this flower on the grass is about a few millimetres.
These are some pictures I took without using the zoom feature.
However, both these flowers are widely used in making Ayurvedic medicines. Again, I learned all this from Google only. :)
The name of the flower in my garden is Aparajita. But I think they both belong to the same family. Not because they look identical but because their benefits are also similar. They are both used to treat disorders and diabetes, they improve your digestive system, regulate blood sugar levels, are rich in antioxidants, etc.
And it is also very easy to consume. Like we dry the flowers in our garden and use 2-3 flowers in a cup of boiled water tea.
By the way, I am neither promoting this flower nor advising to consume it. Even if you want to use it, do it only after discussing to a good doctor or specialist.
I just came here to show my photography! 😄
