Mission baby corn!

in HiveGarden2 days ago

Namaste to all Phone Photography lovers!🙏

Just 2 days ago we bought baby corn and some other veggies from the market and made white sauce pasta. This was the first time we added baby corn to the pasta and we really liked its mild sweetness in the pasta.
Baby corn is not easily available in our place, so I told my wife that next time we will harvest baby corn from the garden to make pasta and then the very next day I made preparations to sow a baby corn.

This is the cup in which the seeds will be growing. This is a paper cup about 5 inches big filled with a mix of cocopeat, sand and organic compost.

I sowed the corn in the middle with the pointed side facing the ground at a depth of about 1 to 1.5 inches. I watered it and kept it in the shade near the window. Now hopefully in the next 2 to 3 weeks, a small sprout will come out of it, after which I will give you an update.

I hope you enjoyed my Phone Photography and Gardening! 😊🙏🏼

Its so nice of you to plant in a recycled paper cup, I always wanted to used recycled materials but it needs time to gathered lots of it. Looking forward to see your baby corn grows. ☺

I am just excited to see it sprout and bloom sooner. I hope it will flourish and produce abundant ears of corns. !BBH

I hope they can grow, but not into one cup of popcorn 😄

I will harvest them much before they turn corn. This is why I call them baby corn😉

I'm looking forward to seeing it grow.

Be patient, I've invested in the future! :)

We hope to see that little sprout that for sure will be very beautiful and healthy and will become a huge plant hehe 😊

Well, idk how huge it will become, I just want to harvest a lot of baby corn from it :D thank you for your best wishes!

Good morning, Mr. @untilwelearn

How great that you're planting your own corn plants. I hope the seeds sprout soon.

I wish you much success.

I hope the same. It will take upto 3 weeks! :)

Corn is a very grateful plant. It's very resilient, and if cared for, it can yield great dividends that can be used to make delicious dishes!
