When I was in my college years, one of the games that I always play is this Dota 2 and at that time, it was the peak time of this Dota 2 game because many people are not just playing but also watching tournaments all around the world.
In the tournament, people/players are not just watching the game itself but to observe the gameplay itself on what strategies they will do and how they will apply in the game.
The game itself is not only a strategy game but you need to observe and understand the other players movement and predict on what they usually do. Although, there are some veteran players that are really good on playing the game but if you are new to the game, I think you would confuse yourself and the hero that you are playing always die.
At that time, I also spent hours, days, and even months of playing and navigating through the game because I only play Dota 1 and I use on playing the game itself by playing with bot heroes.
Then, one of my friends told me that why should I not play the Dota 2 game which is similar to a Dota 1 game. At first, I hesitated on playing it because I am scared to play and I don't know how to navigate it but they convince me on playing and that's the start on my sleepless days that I always think about. The strategies, the gameplay, and other scenarios from the game.
One of my most unforgettable moment that I cannot forget about this Dota 2 game was the time that we played together with my friends and I used the Earthshaker (ES) hero, which is a support hero, to play the game because I like to be a support one and not the carry type one and we lose the game because there are things that I cannot navigate and it partially my fault that we lose the game because there are some things that I didn't explore about the hero itself.
After that incident, I learned about the usage of the hero because I used that hero whenever I play the game in a solo mode with other players that also played the game.
Whenever I will go to the computer shop and if anyone is playing this Dota 2 game, I will observe on how does the player played the game and how is the player's strategy on winning the game with the hero that the player is using.
Some of the players that I observe gives me ideas and thoughts about it but there are some that didn't give me ideas maybe because the player lack of strategy and only like to stay on the line with no team play.
I quit playing Dota 2 game after I graduated from my college days. I thought that I can continue on playing the game even after graduating but I am always tired and exhausted after working that I don't have enough time playing Dota 2.
