Doing good to all men. Men are generally not good. You may wonder why I will have to say that. But that is the truth. We are selfish. We only care for ourselves. We do not have concerns about what the other person around us is feeling. This is why I say that men are generally not good. The nature of self-centerness has overwhelmed us. We are not even caring for those who are our very blood siblings. Believe me, there is no goodness in the nature of the humans. So, doing good to others is not in our character.
It is only God who can make us know how to do good to one another. The mind that will give something worthwhile to others is from God. It is through the nature of God that we have in us that we can think of making others feel good. When people lack humans feeling towards others, it is because they have not been regenerated by the new life of Christ Jesus. Those who have encountered Jesus Christ in their life have received this new life and they can be loving and caring towards one another. Do you have that life of Christ in you? If you find it difficult to be good towards others, it is because your heart is dominated by evil. Let us allow God to transform us through His spirit so that we can do good to all men.
