Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!

This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge is about Favorite Strategies. In which we have to pick any of our favourite strategies and share all the information related to it including the required cards and lineup with you all. We can really learn a lot from these challenge blogs because many strategies can be made here and the game can be won by using different tactics in different situations. I hope you will learn something good from my blog too!

Because on a real battle field the circumstances keep changing every time due to rulesets and other conditions, you cannot always win with a single mindset and strategy, but there are some cards and strategies that keep you standing as a strong opponent in any battle. The purpose of this blog is to tell you what are those cards and things which if kept in mind while making any strategy then you can give a tough fight to your opponent in most of the battles.

For example, I will be talking about a team made with water summoner cards, however, you can make a somewhat similar team with other elements as well if you focus on the stats. In which adding cards with every attacking ability is a part of my strategy because every stat has its own speciality which strengthens you in some way or the other in different situations.

I like to place Giant Apline Skink at the forefront in most of my battles with Water Summoner. Along with great melee attacking ability, it also has good speed which helps in establishing dominance right from the start of the battle and the most important feature a card should have in the first position is maximum health and armour to defend itself from initial attacks and this card is good in that regard as well as its shield ability gives it protection from damages by up to 50%. This card will not only weaken the enemy by attacking first but will also thwart the enemy's attacks to some extent.

Since Pallus is a common card, I give this card second place in any team formed not only with Water Summoner but also with any Summoner. Usually, melee attackers can perform attacks only from the first position, but this card has Reach ability, due to which it can perform attacks from the second position in the team as well. Apart from making this card immune to earthquakes, the Flying ability also protects it from direct attacks by 25% and Kindred Spirit gives its adjacent card the True Strike ability. And apart from all these abilities, you will also see good health, attack capacity, and speed in the stats of this card.

After 2 melee attackers at the forefront, I like to place the magic attackers in the backline. My favourite card for the third position in my current deck in the Water element is DJINN OSHANNUS. The specialities of magic attackers are that they can attack from any position. Not only that, their attacks ignore the defender’s Armor and damage is applied directly to health and these attacks never miss. It always hits. Knowing all this, you might understand the importance of magic attackers in your team and along with it if you get some of the abilities like Void, Protect, Weaken, etc. then it can be the best combination but apart from all this, the most important things are attacking power, health and speed because you get the chance to use your ability only when you stays on the battlefield.

Now finally comes the turn of the team's shooters, range attackers. The reason for placing them last lies in their stats itself since range attacks are not done from the front row, so I prefer to position them last so that they are ready to perform their best in any condition. Swamp spitter is a good range attack card with good stats and also works to repair the armour of allied units due to its Repair ability. Here I am talking about all the level one cards, which means if you own higher level cards then you can also take advantage of some additional abilities. Apart from this, Delya is also a good range attacker and the good thing about this card is that it comes in common cards, which means you can combine it with any other element. The best thing I like about this card is its speed. And not only this card but recently I have started giving more importance to speed during team selection and the results are amazing. If you have noticed earlier that sometimes even your good team comes under pressure from the very beginning due to slow attacking or you lose a battle because the enemy attacks before you, then you have to understand that speed, which does not directly make any card strong, but being slow in it gives the enemy an edge to attack you first, which has the power to change the course of the battle.

That's all for today!

I hope you learned something good from my blog! 😊🙏
