It's a new month ladies and not just a new month, it's the month of love and I really am excited as I'd like to write about Love for the next few days though , so you'd have to bear with me on that 😊.

As a growing girl, I've always had to watch movies or cartoons with happily ever after in them, especially in cartoons and they were shown as fairy tales and happy ending. So overtimes the move had presented love as sweet and smooth as butter,it's all Rosey , Flowers from your lover always delivered to your almost every morning. You get breakfast in bed and a lovely romantic dinner every fortnight. These and many more are what we see in the movie,And this has become the yardstick of how love should be defined in many young people today.
Social Media kind of love and Contents made by Couples popping up every now and then isn't even making it any easier.

But as I've grown older, and listen to other people's true live stories about love and relationships it has shaped my mind towards a different kind of love. This type of love that doesn't come with doing so much to impress, the easy going consistent kind of love . That chooses a person and decides to be intentional about it.
Love in most cases, especially the kind I've experienced, is romantic and quiet doesn't need grand entry and a full band to announce itself.
Love shouldn't be something that you get to see only , it's something that you truly feel and you constantly participate in it together as a couple. Taking baby steps and loving each other daily.
I don’t think love is only a feeling anymore. Feelings rise and fall. They fluctuate with mood, stress, season, and circumstance. If love were only a feeling, it would be unreliable. I believe love is both a feeling and a choice. The feeling might be what introduces us, but the choice is what keeps us.
Most times we think love is just what we feel for a person, but it's one thing to have a feeling. But our feelings change and they might produce emotions that would be passed across to our partner's even when it's not meant to be so. And then we go ahead to act based on feelings. In a situation where our feelings starts to rise and fall another thing makes us act right ,our Choice.
And so Loving a person ain't based on feelings, it's also a Choice , one that has to be made carefully and intentionally,not minding our we feel Today, Tomorrow or even years to come.
You could feel sad about your lover,but the fact that you decided to intentionally Choice him, makes it easier to over come your feelings of sadness.
Love is also not supposed to feel like a charade or a disguise of, a couples personality, it's supposed to be healthy and real. The type of love that gives room for growth and correction, not the type of correction that makes you a shadow of yourself behind your partner. But the type that make you glow and look different even when interacting with the real world. It becomes evident to those around that true love radiates through you.
