I really love it when the starting photos have a wide horizon, like this round’s image of a beach—it’s truly great to work with! After exploring several ideas, I came up with something simple yet effective: a retro-style collage that blends elements from past decades with the speed of digital creation.
Me gusta mucho cuando las fotos de partidas son fotos con un gran horizonte amplio, como la foto de esta ocasión de una playa, que está muy muy genial para trabajar con ella. Así que después de manejar varias ideas, se me ocurrió algo muy simple pero efectivo: un collage con estilo retro, que mezcle elementos de las décadas pasadas con la velocidad de crear en digital.

The creation process was incredibly fun, especially when selecting the photos that would be part of the composition. Little by little, I added elements, but undoubtedly, what brought the most playfulness and originality was experimenting with the filters and blending options to mix colors and textures.
El proceso de creación fue muy divertido, sobre todo a la hora de seleccionar las fotos que serían parte de la mezcla. Poco a poco fui agregando elementos, pero sin dudas, lo que más juego y originalidad dio fue jugar con los filtros y opciones de fusión del programa para crear mezclas de colores y texturas.

I really liked the final result, mainly because it captured what I had envisioned, and the washed-out colors turned out beautifully. That said, I plan to revisit this piece since I left out a few ideas I still want to bring to life—for example, I would have loved to create a portal to an aquatic world above the beach.
El resultado final me gustó mucho, sobre todo porque capturó lo que ya tenía en mente que sería el resultado final y los colores estilo lavado quedaron muy bien.
