On February 27, 2025, precisely on Thursday yesterday, I took a trip to a forest park located in a remote area, I took this trip with my small family and consisted of 6 people and all of them were my younger siblings and cousins. We took this trip to a forest park because we wanted to cook in the park while enjoying the beauty of nature. We took this trip exactly at two in the afternoon and the distance was about 1 hour from the center of Bireuen.
From the city center of Bireuen, this trip felt very pleasant, but right in the middle of the trip, the weather suddenly turned very cloudy and heavy rain fell. At first, I was hesitant to continue this trip, but my younger siblings suggested that we continue the trip, but luckily at that time we brought complete equipment such as raincoats.
Oh yes, the road to this forest park is the Bireuen-Takengon crossroad, but the location of this forest park is still very far from the city of Takengon, but the extreme route is already very noticeable, plus the rainy weather makes us have to be very focused and careful. The rainy weather made me have to put away my cellphone and couldn't capture the moments during this trip.
After about an hour of travel, we finally arrived at the location of this forest park, and we immediately parked our motorbikes in the parking area provided there.
And before entering this park, we must first buy an entrance ticket and the ticket price itself is calculated per person, and one ticket costs Rp. 10,000 in Indonesian currency or 2 hive prices at this time, of course this ticket price is not expensive and is still cheap.
After we paid for the tickets, we were immediately invited to enter the park, but because the weather was rainy, of course we had to be very careful because the road was very slippery, plus there was my 5 year old sister who was on this trip so we had to look after her well.
I was a little surprised to see the condition of the river, the water was very fast flowing and very dirty, because I had visited this place before and of course the water in this river was very clean and clear, maybe because the heavy rain made the water in the river fast flowing and dirty.
However, I didn't stay long on the bridge because just hearing the sound of the water in the river made me a little goosebumps, so I immediately went into the park to look for a suitable hut as a place for us to rest.
But luckily my sister had already found a suitable cottage, so I decided to capture the beauty of this forest garden first, and let them cook there Lol.This forest park is indeed located in a forest, but it is not a very dense forest. Maybe because there is already a tourist spot, this forest has been cleaned up a bit so that when we are in this park, we do not feel uncomfortable and anxious.
And in this park there are also many beautiful flowers and ornamental plants and just like parks in general, but what makes it different is that this park is still 50% forest and the natural atmosphere is still very thick in this park.
Even many large trees are still maintained in this park, so that the presence of these trees makes this park have its own uniqueness
After about 30 minutes of walking around the park, my sister finally called my name because the food was ready and ready to be eaten. Hearing that statement, I immediately approached them and saw that the food had been served on the hut.
Even though I was very hungry, I immediately washed my hands and started eating the dish with my little family, and the reason they cooked so quickly was because they had prepared some of the ingredients at home and the rest were cooked in this garden, so they didn't need a long time to prepare this dish.
I felt sorry for my youngest brother because his goal in joining this trip was to be able to swim in this river, but because the water in the river was very fast and dirty, he couldn't swim because it would be very risky and dangerous.
Once I finished eating, I felt happy because I thought the rain had really stopped and I could explore the whole park, but not long after, it suddenly started raining again, as if nature didn't allow me to explore the whole park. Lol.
The very cold atmosphere made me feel at home in this hut, but suddenly my younger siblings immediately got out of the hut and walked towards the river, it turned out that their intention was to take pictures, they didn't care about the rain and cold because one of them made a statement so that this trip would not be in vain🤦
I didn't feel anxious at all because there were several other visitors who were also taking pictures there, and let them do things that could make them satisfied and happy. While I could only enjoy the beauty of this place from the top of the hut Lol
At that time, it was already half past 5 in the afternoon, but my little brothers and sisters were still busy taking pictures there. Rather than getting bored being alone in the hut, I decided to walk towards the river while enjoying the strong current of the river.
The rain was getting heavier, making the atmosphere even darker, so I immediately called them all to pack up all their equipment and get ready to make the journey home, plus the journey home to Bireuen city took more than an hour.
After packing all the equipment, we finally made our way home, and the journey home was still the same as the initial journey, namely in the middle of heavy rain, so I had to put away my cellphone again and again and couldn't capture the beauty along the way home.
