Is Leo under the radar: LPUD, April 2025
LPUD or Leo Power Up Day, falls on the 15th of every month with the objective of powering up the Leo tokens, increasing your Leo stake each passing month, and it is to show the solidarity of the Leo community. If you are under 25K Leo Power and did not power down your Leo, you can be eligible for the rewards as per the announcement post by the team.
Though it is a community event but I will take this event to analyze the progress happening on the Leo ecosystem, my strategy towards the Leo accumulation, and where I like to see myself or decide on my actions for the future at the Leo Ecosystem.
I can definitely say at the token price perspective, progress seems to be in a downtrend though the team claims that they are able to meet their goals. Now the issue is that most of Hive whales are not in agreement with the team's claim, and to be honest, progress should reflect in the token price too. Unfortunately LEO token price has a different story to tell.
Light at the other end of the tunnel.
If you are following the Leofinance team, then I will say that you should not miss the Leodex V3 is Live post where Khal share the progress on the Leodex, listing all the protocols is currently support or going to support in future and the impressive list of the tokens that it will support. Apart from the development update, there is something also that might interest the Leo token holders.
Being a top 5 cross-chain DEX platform for all 3 of these platforms would result in LeoDex generating north of $50,000 per month in affiliate revenue. This entire amount would be buying the LEO token on the open market. The LEO stakeholders (LEO DAO) would then vote on the usage of these funds. The DAO is likely to vote to burn all of the LEO that is accumulated by our Thochain, Maya and ChainFlip affiliate addresses. This would result in a pretty dramatically positive shift in the LEO Token economics.
Our Maya Protocol affiliate address earned north of $20,000 last month. It has already started buying $LEO:$0.02 off the open market. Very slowly, very programatically yet with a lot of randomness (as you can see, randomness is introduced to avoid people immeidately front running the buy backs).
What I aspire.
I guess, it is no brainer that I will like to have my asset price (in this case LEO tokens) to appreciate. Since Khal already mentioned that token buying is already started, so I assume that till next month LPUD, Leo price will appreciate from the current price of .06198 Hive per LEO ) 0r $.014 in the next LPUD. I am currently holding more than 15K LEO and gradually like to progress to 25K LEO and so on upto 150K LEO but I should find solid reasons to chase the goals.
Finally, Lets Power up.
