Beautiful memories - wk 215

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome.🤗

My high school days were the best part of my schooling years. I attended a boarding school throughout; it was more of a fun, sweet, and bitter experience.

I didn't resume school early like other students because my dad wanted me to attend day school, and I refused. After much back and forth without any results, he had no choice but to look for a good boarding school for me to attend.

I attended a federal government college that was in a different state from where I was residing. I was excited to go to boarding school, one because I needed freedom; I was tired of going on errands for my parents and uncles who were living with us; and two because I was going to have my own provisions and take them the way I wanted.

I was one of those kids that were likeable, so I had a lot of seniors who liked me, coupled with the fact that I had a family friend also in the school who was in her final year, so I was loved by many of her classmates. This exempted me from some activities, like labor day, so much so that even though the water I used was not fetched by me, they would send other people to fetch it for them and then give me it from theirs. This made some other seniors, who were not my family friend's classmates, hate and envy me. So they were patiently waiting for the set of my family friend to pass out for them to deal with me.

What even made it worse was the day they compared me with a senior and said that I was looking smarter and neater than her, and she was three years ahead of me.

I was a very quiet and mischievous student. I was that type of student that would do something naughty and people would still defend me and say, "I didn't do it," because of how quiet and calm I looked.

I was also a social person. During my senior years I joined to different clubs at school. I also had a clique of friends, and we were seen to be stubborn and fearless. Because of this, some people would dare not mess up with us.

But, I was never a bully, so this made a lot of junior students love me. I received a lots of gift from both my classmates and juniors. They were times some junior students would even offer to watch my clothes and fetch water for me.

My high school days was filled with so much fun and beautiful memories 😍
