Today is the last day at the farm house until I visit again in last week of August. During this 1-month visit to India, I got a good chance to spend time here. Normally it is always a short time 2 to 3 days that I can stay at the farm house, but this time I stayed for almost 10 days and that it was a relaxed stay with not much of work to do. Every day in the morning I spend my time in the garden, watering my plants and maintenance. Evening I go for a walk to the near-by hills. It's peaceful time, just that my ears have become so used to silence that now when I have to go back to the city, I am not getting very good feeling.
I am enjoying this silence and being all by myself. I am not feeling lonely, there is so much nature around that I feel that tit is taking good care of me. My friends are wondering what I keep doing alone here, but that' how I have become. During these days, my sister came to spend time with me, then one day my friends also came over, that was a little chaotic day. I wanted to bring mom also, but due to some reason she was not able to come.
I am going to miss my plants, the hills, the views, silence, simplicity and being by myself.
Today I am sharing some pictures from my flower garden.
The only thing I missed this time is the rains, normally by this time the monsoon is properly set in and it becomes green all around, but there are no rains and it's still all dry. For the villagers it is a big concern because with delayed and less rain their rice fields will get impacted. Also, because of no rains it is still hot during day time. Night gets very pleasant but day time I would need a fan. Ideally in this place, we have so much wind and it's so pleasant that I do not even need a fan. I am dreading to go back to the city. In the city fan is of no use, there is so much humidity.
Anyways life goes on with me travelling up and down between cities and countries. A week more and I will travel back to Oman again. In a way I am enjoying it also, getting a taste of all parts of life.
