The last few days have been hectic working on the home jobs. My new Airbnb I want to upgrade and make it friendly for all age groups. There are quite a few things for the adults but I did not have anything for small children. My this upgrade patch has been all about putting up sport and gaming equipment's which can cater to all age groups. All the activities have been completed smoothly except for this play area equipment. They gave me a hard time doing their job. I had placed the order of this equipment directly with a factory outlet, as that was economical for me. If I would go for a retail store, the price was 30% more. Also, they could not customise it. With the factory outlet, they customized it as per the size specifications that I was looking at, which was a good thing for me.
All through out till the making of the order, everything was smooth, the only hassle that I faced with them was on the delivery and installation part. I had informed them well in advance that I had a very narrow window to take the delivery and for them to complete the installation work, all terms were agreed. But then on the day of delivery, they did not turn up and all through out the day I was chasing them, finally next day the delivery arrived, but the installation person did not show up. The agreement done was that both the jobs will be completed together.
For next 2 days I kept following up with them and they kept telling me they will be sending soon, but no one turned up. Finally I realized that they were not going to do this job and thankfully I had not paid them for the installation works. I managed to find a local person to do the job and then finally yesterday the job was completed.
Now I have a play area for children, I am feeling good about it. This is for children from 2 to 12 years old. It's a one piece set of Swing, slide and see-saw. I am sure the kids who come over are going to enjoy it and the parents will also have some relief because there will be entertainment for their small children.
It was all sent in parts and had to be installed together., it was not a difficult task but needed expertise.

The assembling is in progress. This is not the job that I could manage. I was feeling relieved seeing it getting in it's place.

Looking at it some of my previous guests are telling me why I did not do this earlier, but then doing everything together was not possible for me, and also as my business grows and I am manage to remove some money I will do things like these, else spending from my own pocket becomes too heavy for me. I will also share the other sport equipment's that I got installed.
