Yesterday I shared about the flowers of my garden, and today I want to share what's growing in my garden. These are at 2 different places, the flowers I shared are here in my Muscat home and today what I am going to share is of my India home. Few months back I planted some fruit trees in my garden. Fruits normally take some time to grow and what I had planted were very small plants so it did take some months for me to start getting results. I am happy that finally the trees have started bearing fruits. Not all of them but 2 of them yes. Papaya and Pear, these are the ones that have started coming.
The Papaya tree has been growing well, I am not a big fan of this fruit but considering it's nutritional value I decided to grow it in my garden. It's a rich source of Vitamin A and E and rich with antioxidants. Some months back it was a baby just around 6 inches and now it's almost 4 feet tall. Papaya tree grows tall. Right now I have 2 of them growing.
Here is the Papaya fruit, so many of them are growing. Anything that grows in my garden if it gets in access then I share it with my neighbors. 2 months back, I had too many brocolis growing, and my neighbors were so happy when I gave it to them.
All these pictures my caretaker sends me on regular basis, because I would want to keep a track on all my plants growth. Next month I will be travelling so I am hoping by then these will all ripe up and I can eat them.
The other one I mentioned is the Pear tree. They are a good source of fibre and I also enjoy this fruit. It is hubby's favorite so this was our first choice when we were deciding which fruit trees to plant. Next to it the other tall one you can see is the moringa tree, that has also been growing well but yet no drumsticks on it.
Can you see the fruits on it, the more the better because we really enjoy having this fruit.
There is also guava tree, but as of now I can only see one fruit on the plant.
That's my latest fruit garden update.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
