The gift of a woman is a blessing to humanity. Women are blessings. Do you believe that?
In my few years, I have been blessed by the loving and caring hands and acts of mothers. They have been helpful in assisting my life as I have been pursuing my destiny. At several instances when I would have been downcasted and traumatized, mothers with loving hearts have assisted me up the ladder.
From the beginning, the gift of a woman was a blessing to humanity. When God was done with creating what he created, he came around and said that it was not good that man should be alone. That was when the creation of the woman came about. So, the gift of a woman was to compliment and make man’s existence perfect. The woman is that part of humanity that makes our lives better.
When we are saying this, we should not be carnal in our minds. We should not think that what I mean is just sexual pleasure. That is too insignificant when talking about the blessedness of the woman to humanity. Women are packages of true blessing and help.
I had a mother, when talking about my biological mother. But I have had mothers whom I met in my life journey and their contributions to my life’s progress has helped me in different ways.
A few days ago, I received a phone call from home which informed me of the demise of such mothers. I'm not feeling sad because Mummy is dead, but it feels painful to lose a mother from whose pot I have eaten from in the days when I was not very buoyant to carry myself. I cannot forget her advice and encouragement. Those helped me kept going when it looked like I was not going to pull through life successfully.
I thank God for the gift of Mummy to my life. I wouldn't know how I would have been now if God didn't bring her my way at that. May God grant my lovely Mummy eternal rest.
