QC Contest 124 --|-- Nurturing Critical Thinking is a Skill Everyone Needs

in QC Community16 days ago

Critical thinking, to me, is just how we use our thinking faculty to reason and provide a valid conclusion that is factual and not assumption-based. Many think being intelligent is all one needs to think critically.

The truth is that some are intelligent but don't know when to use their intelligence to solve problems, proffer solutions, and make logical conclusions to discussions. Critical thinking involves thinking deeply in order to make informed decisions.

Why is critical thinking very important? One is that it helps in problem-solving. It is only when you think and analyze that you can compare and know which goes better. I have a close friend who keeps falling into the hands of scammers because he refuses to think critically. This answers the question of whether everyone has critical thinking skills.

Although not everyone has the ability to think critically, the good thing is that it is something that can be nurtured. Critical thinking is very important in everything we do. Be it business or something else.

I have come across people that no matter how you want to let them understand that investing in a Ponzi scheme is a waste of money, even with thousands of attempts with none working out for them, they still, allow scammers lead them blindly into investing without even taking their mind back to their past experiences and asking themselves questions of why they have never made any profit from thousands of other ones they had invested in.

It's very simple; critical thinking begins with just asking simple questions and understanding why and how something happens, how it should have happened. With this, one is open to think instead of just accepting things just anyhow as they have been presented to them.

ritical thinking is an essential skill that goes beyond intelligence, requiring the application of reasoning to analyse information, question assumptions and reach informed conclusions. It is vital for making informed decisions, avoiding manipulation and solving problems effectively. Although not everyone develops it naturally, it can be cultivated with practice and constant reflection.

Yep, I totally think that's the best thing about it. Of course sometimes the decision we have to make is not the simplest or the easiest one, but it is the best at that moment. And critical thinking let's us see that sometimes the easiest path is not the best for us.

Congratulations for post!
