Pelopidas mathias or also known as "large branded swift" which is a species of butterfly that caught my attention while walking in the forest two days ago, when I passed the path under the dense trees a Pelopidas mathias appeared around me, but getting a picture of them was not easy, every time I approached he always flew short to avoid being shot by the camera, it really made me annoyed because I missed the moment, I waited patiently and finally I had the opportunity to get a picture of them.
Pelopidas mathias has dark brown wings and is equipped with distinctive patterns that make it easy for me to recognize, on the front wings there are small white spots arranged regularly, while the hind wings tend to be plain with a more uniform color, the size is relatively small with a wingspan of around 30 millimeters.
