Back To Wild To Boost My Progress In Modern
+ My first 27 Arcana Starter Packs Opened!
+ My Achievements in Season 158
On May 13, 2025 the Conclave Arcana General Sale began.
In the SHOP->CARD PACKS section of Splinterlands you can purchase 4 types of card packs of the new Conclave Arcana set.
In the MARKET->CARD SALES section, you can purchase the Conclave Arcana cards put up for sale by players.
With the start of the General Sale, cards from the Chaos Legion set can no longer be used in the Modern Format, and this rotation has produced a major change in my game activity and in my strategy.
Before the release of the new set of cards I used to play with two accounts in the Modern Format.
I love playing in the Modern Format because in this format there are no bots but only human players like me.
Now that I can no longer use my Chaos Legion cards in my favorite format:
- I will continue to play manually and have fun in Modern Format with my main account (libertycrypto27)
- I will use my Chaos Legion cards in the Wild Format in which I will play with my curation account for SPT tokens (libertygame27)
- I will use the rewards I get in the Wild Format to increase the battle strength of my card collection usable in the Modern Format.
So I will use all my rewards in the Wild to purchase Arcana Conclave cards and packs and cards of the Rebellion set.
Yesterday I delegated all my Chaos Legion cards from libertycrypto27 to libertygame27 and activated the use of XBOT for libertygame27.
My CHAOS LEGION collection allowed me to play stably in the Modern Format's Diamond leagues, and I was happily surprised by the results I got in the first session of play in the Wild Format using XBOT:
- Battles: 56
- Wins: 37
- Winrate: 66%.
- SPS: +48.85 - 20% (fees of XBOT) = 39.08 SPS
- Glint: +35379
I will use right away and day by day my rewards in the Wild Format to buy Conclave Arcana/Rebellion cards and Conclave Arcana packs.
In fact today I converted 39 SPS to 447.38 DEC and for the conversion I preferred to use the SWAP feature of the Pool SPS:DEC over the conversion on the Splinterlands site because I found this option more convenient as you can see from the next two screenshots.

I suggest you always do this comparison before converting your tokens especially if you have to convert a lot of tokens because it may be cheaper one option than another.
In deciding whether to buy cards from the market or packs I will be guided by the estimated value of a pack of cards that can be viewed in the Pack Stats section of Peakmonsters.
For example, today May 16, 2025 Starter packs have a positive estimated value: +2.59%
An estimated value higher than the purchase value theoretically means that I can keep the cards I like best and sell the ones I like least.
Today I spent 27000 DEC to buy 27 STARTER Packs.
In the next pictures you can see what I found inside the packs.
My priority goal in the new Modern Format without the Chaos Legion cards is to increase the number of Archons (summoners) in my possession because I only have two summoners of my own and of higher level than the 1st that I can use in the Modern Format:
- Akane of maximum level
- Chuul Jujinchi (level 4)
When I can use Akane my game results are good but when I cannot use him it is almost always a defeat for me as you can see in the next screenshot.
To purchase/upgrade Archons I will follow the strategy I have always followed in the past: bids to purchase.
For now I have excluded the possibility of renting Archons from the market because the rental prices are very high but I will monitor the rental market hoping to find cheap rentals.
My results in last completed season in Modern Format (season 158)
My favorite ranked play type format is the Modern Format and even though in the current season (season 159) I will have a much less competitive card collection without my Chaos Legion cards, I will continue to play exactly as before because playing on Splinterlands against human players is a lot of fun for me.
Season 158 was the last season I played with two accounts in Modern Format.
In fact, starting with season 152 I doubled my playing activity in Modern Format and so, even in the last completed season (season 158) I played in Modern Format with:
- @libertycrypto27 (my main account) -> Cards
- @libertygame27 (my curation account for tokens SPT) -> Cards
With @libertycrypto27 in the Season 158:
- I used a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of 1420 cards = 28916 BCX = 626025 CP.
- I used a SPS stake = 136K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = 86K SPS effective
- I did not rent any cards from the market and used only the cards I owned
With @libertygame27 in the Modern Format:
- I used a card collection (delegated by libertycrypto27 + soulbound) consisting of 239 cards = 9066 BCX = 95930 CP.
- I used a SPS stake = 50K delegated by libertycrypto27

The balance between rental income (libertycrypto27) and rental expense (libertygame27) was positive, and unlike previous seasons, I chose not to rent cards for libertygame27: +794.83 DEC

Based on the current market values of the HIVE token, the SPS token (highest bid value), and the DEC token (Lowest Ask value), I calculated the net dollar gain I made from playing with my two accounts.

Compared to the previous season, libertycrypto27's financial results improved ($9.54 vs $9.32) while libertygame27's financial results worsened ($1.86 vs $2.11) mainly because I played fewer battles compared to the previous season.
Thanks to the GLINTs I earned during season 158, I made progress in upgrading Rebellion Reward cards.
During the previous seasons I completed upgrading common and rare Rebellion Reward cards.
With 127.58 GLINT on hand, I purchased 14 Epic Draw.

I made 1 upgrade:
- Olivia Of The Brook: level 2 -> level 3
In the next image you can see my Reward Rebellion Epic cards.
I have 6 cards at level 3 and Halfling Refugee at level 4.
I will most likely burn gold cards because they are harder to get to the maximum level I will burn my reward gold cards to accelerate the upgrade of epic and legendary cards in regular version.
Even with libertygame27 I have made progress in upgrading Rebellion reward cards and am getting closer and closer to completing the upgrade of common reward cards (92%).
My last battles played in the Modern Format and the Wild Format.
I will end this post by showing my last two battles won, my last battle won in Modern Format and my last battle won in Wild Format to show the difference in SPS gain in different leagues, in different formats and with different amount of SPS staked.

Ritorno nel Wild per progredire nel Modern!
I miei risultati nella stagione 158 e i miei prossimi passi nella stagione in corso
Il 13 maggio 2025 è iniziata la Conclave Arcana General Sale.
Nella sezione SHOP->CARD PACKS di Splinterlands è possibile acquistare 4 tipologie di pacchi di carte del nuovo set Conclave Arcana.
Nella sezione MARKET->CARD SALES è possibile acquistare le carte Conclave Arcana messe in vendita dai giocatori.
Con l'inizio della General Sale le carte del set Chaos Legion non possono più essere utilizzate nel Modern Format e questa rotazione ha prodotto un cambiamento importante nella mia attività di gioco.
Prima del rilascio del nuovo set di carte giocavo con due accounts nel Modern Format.
Adesso che non posso più utilizzare le mie carte Chaos Legion nel mio formato preferito:
- continuerò a giocare manualmente e a divertirmi nel Modern Format con il mio account principale (libertycrypto27)
- utilizzerò le mie carte Chaos Legion nel Wild Format nel quale giocherò con il mio curation account per i token SPT (libertygame27)
- utilizzerò le ricompense che otterrò nel Wild Format per aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format.
Quindi utilizzerò tutte le mie ricompense nel Wild per acquistare carte e pacchi di carte Conclave Arcana e carte del set Rebellion.
Ieri ho delegato tutte le mie carte Chaos Legion a libertygame27 e ho attivato l'uso di XBOT per libertygame27.
La mia collezione CHAOS LEGION mi permetteva di giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Diamond del Modern Format e sono rimasto felicemente sorpreso dei risultati ottenuti nella prima sessione di gioco nel Wild Format usando XBOT:
- Battles: 56
- Wins: 37

- SPS: +48.85 - 20% (fees of XBOT) = 39.08 SPS

In questa stagione e solo in questa stagione è stato disattivato il Wild Pass ma dalla prossima stagione ci sarà un costo stagionale ricorrente di 2000 DEC che, in base ai risultati che ho ottenuto nel primo giorno nel Wild, dovrei riuscire a coprire ma aspetterò la fine della stagione per fare calcoli e valutazioni precise.
Dopo 1 solo giorno di gioco sono al sesto posto nella Gold League Leaderboard nel Wild Format e i presupposti per arrivare nelle leghe Champion sono buoni.
Utilizzerò fin da subito le mie ricompense nel Wild Format per acquistare carte e pacchi Conclave Arcana.
Infatti oggi ho convertito 39 SPS in 447.38 DEC e per la conversione ho preferito utilizzare la funzionalità SWAP della Pool SPS:DEC rispetto alla conversione sul sito di Splinterlands perchè ho trovato più conveniente questa opzione come puoi vedere dai due prossimi screenshot.

Ti consiglio di fare sempre questo confronto prima di convertire i tuoi token soprattutto se devi convertire molti token perchè potrebbe essere più conveniente una opzione rispetto ad un'altra.
Nella decisione se acquistare carte dal mercato o pacchi di carte mi farò guidare dal valore stimato di un pacco di carte che può essere visualizzato nella sezione Pack Stats di Peakmonsters.
Ad esempio oggi 16 maggio 2025 gli Starter pack hanno un valore stimato positivo: +2.59%
Un valore stimato superiore al valore di acquisto significa in teoria che posso tenere le carte che mi piaccioni di più e vendere quelle che mi piacciono meno.
Oggi ho speso 27000 DEC per acquistare 27 STARTER Packs.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei pacchi.
Il mio obiettivo prioritario nel nuovo Modern Format senza le carte Chaos Legion è aumentare il numero degli Archons (evocatori) in mio possesso perchè ho solo due evocatori di mia proprietà e di livello superiore al primo che posso utilizzare nel Modern Format:
- Akane di livello massimo
- Chuul Jujinchi (livello 4)
Quando posso usare Akane i miei risultati di gioco sono buoni ma quando non lo posso usare è quasi sempre una sconfitta per me da come puoi vedere nel prossimo screenshot.
Per acquistare/potenziare gli Archons seguirò la strategia che ho sempre seguito in passato: le offerte di acquisto.
Per il momento ho escluso di noleggiare degli Archons dal mercato perchè i prezzi di noleggio sono molto alti ma monitorerò il mercato del noleggio sperando di trovare noleggi a buon mercato.
I miei risultati nella mia ultima stagione conclusa nel Modern Format
Il mio formato di tipo ranked play preferito è il Modern Format e anche se nella stagione in corso (stagione 159) avrò una collezione di carte molto meno competitiva senza le mie carte Chaos Legion, continuerò a giocare esattamente come prima perchè giocare su Splinterlands contro giocatori umani è molto divertente per me.
La stagione 158 è stata l'ultima stagione in cui ho giocato con due accounts nel Modern Format.
Infatti a partire dalla stagione 152 ho raddoppiato la mia attività di gioco nel Modern Format e così, anche nell'ultima stagione conclusa (la stagione 158) ho giocato nel Modern Format con:
- @libertycrypto27 (il mio account principale) -> Cards
- @libertygame27 (il mio curation account per i token SPT) -> Cards
Con @libertycrypto27 nel Modern Format:
- ho utilizzato una collezione di carte (di proprietà + soulbound) composta da 1420 carte = 28916 BCX = 626025 CP.
- ho utilizzato un SPS stake = 136K (-50K delegati a libertygame27) = 86K SPS effettivo
- non ho noleggio carte dal mercato e ho utilizzato solo le carte di mia proprietà
Con @libertygame27 nel Modern Format:

- ho utilizzato un SPS stake = 50K delegato da libertycrypto27

Rispetto alla stagione precedente i risultati finanziari di libertycrypto27 sono migliorati (9.54$ vs 9.32$) mentre sono peggiorati i risultati finanziari di libertygame27 (1.86$ vs 2.11$) principalmente perchè ho giocato meno battaglie rispetto alla stagione precedente.
Grazie ai GLINT che ho guadagnato durante la stagione 158 ho fatto dei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Reward.
Durante le precedenti stagioni ho completato l'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Reward comuni e rare.
Con 127.58 GLINT a disposizione ho acquistato 14 Epic Draw.
Per completare l'upgrade delle carte reward rare ho acquistato 100 Rare draw.
Con i restanti 180K Glint ho acquistato 24 Epic Draw.

Con molta probabilità brucerò le carte gold perchè più difficili da portare al massimo livello per accellerare l'upgrade delle carte epiche e leggendarie in regular version.
Anche con libertygame27 ho fatto dei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Rebellion reward e mi sto sempre di più avvicinando al completamento dell'upgrade delle carte reward comuni (92%).
