Pasta in tomato sauce || two method of preparation ||

Hello friends, welcome to my blog. Today I want to share with you friends a simple recipe of how to make healthy pasta dish. Pasta is a universal dish and everyone loves to eat it in different ways.

I will be sharing two different ways I enjoy my pasta dish that you can try too. Let me know how you enjoy your pasta.

INGREDIENTS

500g pasta
3 ripened plantains
2 large ripe tomatoes
2 medium sized onion
5 mix coloured habanero peppers
1 clove garlic
1 table spoon salt
1/2 table spoon mixed spices
2 cooking spoon soy oil
Water

Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic then set it aside

Wash and dice plantain to desired size and shape

FIRST COOKING PROCEDURE

Step 1

In a pot add 5 cups of water and bring to a boil, add spaghetti and cook for 5 minutes or until ready but not soggy.

Sieve out starchy water from spaghetti and set aside.

Step 2

Add soy oil in a heated pan, add onions and allow to fry for few minutes then add in peppers and garlic and allow to fry.
Add fresh tomatoes, salt and mixed spices and stir, allow this to cook then add little water to get the perfect tomato sauce.

Our tomatoe sauce is ready and can be eaten with already cooked pasta.

SECOND COOKING PROCEDURE

After step 1 and 2 of first cooking procedure, add 1 cup of water to the tomato sauce and bring to a boil.

Add already cooked spaghetti to the mixture and stir to incorporate all the ingredients together and allow to cook for 2 mins.

add diced plantain and allow to simmer for 30 seconds and our yummy delicious and healthy pasta is ready.

This meal was enjoyed by my family.
