I think its always good to do brawls to get the gladiator cards higher level. Even without the summoner that lets you use gladiators (because it is being removed from modern soon), there is always the ruleset that lets you use them in ranked battles. Some of these cards are extremely powerful, and I think that slight edge could be the difference between a win or loss.
