You see while Jesus taught us how to pray he made sure to Include this aspect of forgiveness because in this world people will always step on our toes. People will hurt us, both knowingly and unknowingly, the most annoying part of it is that some time you do good to someone and the person some times repays you with wickedness, how do you then have the heart to forgive...?
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Fasting to Be Seen Only by God....Matthew 6:14-15
No matter how careful you are, men will hurt you, but as Bro Eli has taught us today, forgiveness should be part of our daily life, ...
If you choose not to forgive then how do you want Your heavenly Father to forgive you, seeing that you too hold grudge against one another....
In Mathew 18:22 Jesus instruct us to for give each person that wronged us 70×7 times per day that's... 490 times in a day for each person, can you keep track of that in a day?..... what that means is that for give without thinking about it, factor it that people will always step on your toe for no reason....
In Mathew 18:21- 35 illustrates the importance of forgiveness, recall the parable of the unforgiving servant, who refuse to forgive his fellow servant yet was guilty of the same crime of which he pleaded and his master for gave him ....
Jesus told us that parable to let us know how God feels when we forgive one another, so from today make it a habit to always let go of the hurt and the pain, clear your mind off it, so your father in heaven can do same for you....
