That morning I was checking on my plant in the garden with little to no intention of taking any photos. But most of the time, that was the time when some of the small creatures decided to show up and seduce me to go back inside the house to take my camera and start taking photos of it.
I was hesitant at first because I knew how fast it goes, and mostly they would be gone by the time I was ready to come out with my camera to photograph it. But then that time I decided to just go in and take my camera out to start taking photos of this spider ant.
The small creature that I have today is actually a spider that imitates back ants, and it is usually called mimicry where one species tries to imitate the other species for various reasons.
This little spider ant was running around on the leaf of one of my plants in the garden. Usually, it will move very fast, just like how the ant would normally move. But that time it was a little bit slow so that I could take so many photos of this guy.
It is so amazing to know who well they imitate the back ant, and I guess the black ant won't recognize that this guy is just an imposter rather than the real species from its colony.
