Suspect and the evidence

in Discovery-it29 days ago

Well I can't say that I caught this little guy red-handed since it was not in the motion of acting the crime, but still, this little guy failed in making a good alibi for its deed, but in fact still hanging around the solid evidence for its deed.

This is also the first time I saw this kind of creature, with this kind of coloration, because I used to find the green color only. and this is what I found when I tried to search for it on Google. Papilio rumiko or western giant swallowtail[2] is a species of swallowtail butterfly. It is found from the south-western United States, through Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica to Panama. The northernmost record is north-eastern Colorado.

I can't believe that this is another one that managed to cross the vast ocean from the other side of the world and end up here in Bali in my place.

But too bad I saw it with the evidence of the chaos that it made. Can you spot what this little guy had done?

Yep, the evidence is right in front of it, it has taken half of the leaf it was resting on, maybe taking a break after eating this hard leave. I think this is the first time I also saw a caterpillar eating the orange leaf, and I can see that this leaf is already a bit old as it has a dark green color.

when I look closely at the photos I notice that it had already finished other leaves, which you can see on the right side of this caterpillar.a very interesting species.

Ah, the caterpillar is really hungry lol. This is my first time viewing a caterpillar with this set of colors. At first, I thought it was a giant moth.

yes the color of the caterpillar is already showing the color of the moth it would be. very interesting indeed
