Hello Everyone, Especially Splinterlands Summoners
We are having a new exclusive reward cards now, or maybe more familiar with the name of Promo card. Her name is Tasoshi Drakamoto, a Drakoshan race from Fire Element. Yes this one is a she, not a he.
Tasoshi Drakamoto is an unique one this time, she is an Epic rarity card... Usually we have promo from the shop in Legend or Rare, not this time. I only have 1154 Voucher this time, so I can not buy 25 copies of here. why 25 copies? well because I only play Gold Foil cards LoL. 25 copies is the minimum purchase to be guaranteed getting a copy of Gold Foil one.
However I am not in any hurry to get more vouchers here. I could buy some copies directly from the market, although the price is ridiculous. I believe later, maybe in a couple weeks, it will get soften and drop to a more reasonable price.
I am being reasonable here, there is no way I will get this card at max level. I could rent it at max level, but the cost will be ridiculous again so it will give me a big hole in my wallet.
I am seeing this card potentially at Level 2-3. Let say level 3 is reasonable one, she will get an extra ability which is an inspire. Inspire will add +1 melee damage. So the first thing that pops out from my head is stacking the inspire ability.
Having a Portly Cannoneer will be a good way to start the Inspire staking. Both of them will add a combined +2 melee damage. During some brawls, I could bring Tarsa and with her +1 melee buff, my team will have +3 melee damage buff, that would be an awesome.
With those +2 or +3 Melee damage, having a Blazebeard Merc will give us a big advantage, because of his Piercing ability. He can attack from anywhere eventhough he is a melee unit. With piercing, opponent armor would not be as effective as before.
The unit doesn't have to be Blazebeard Merc, any melee units will be overpowered. That's the true power of staking inspire ability.
WHAT TO AVOID
Usually people will talk about how to exploit certain ability or combo, or how to utilize them during certain ruleset. However I will talk the opposite right now, It is what to avoid when applying the multiple inspire.
Melee Mayhem... It is the time when all melee can attack from everywhere. Unfortunately this is the exact ruleset we should avoid deploying Tasoshi Drakamoto. During this ruleset, everyone are anticipating a bunch of melee opponents, so they will do their best to set some counters such as thorns.
So most of the time we are better avoiding melee units in our line up, because they are already anticipated and have some counters awaiting them.
WHAT TO SURPRISE
This is the interesting one. For me rather than ruleset, having a chance of using Dragon Element is the best one in utilizing Tasoshi Drakamoto. There is a simple reason for this, Kavor Skarn
This summoners could summon a fellow Drakoshan even the element is not available or not selected. And interesting part is this, Only Tasoshi Drakamoto is the Drakoshan than is not in Dragon Element. So Kavor Skarn can call her even there is no fire element selected or available.
This is the surprise factor, because in Conclave Arcana there is not many Melee Unit available. All of strong ones are in Riftwatchers and Chaos Legion edition. So by having an opportunity for Tasoshi Drakamoto to join other elements, we are talking about a bunch of unpredictable melee units
Let say we call Captain Fellblade here, and she gets +2 Melee damage buff. So she can deliver 2 magic damage and 3 melee damage, that would be a disaster for the opponent backline, right?
Having this Night Stalker with his execute, but his melee becomes +5 damage due to the staking buff of inspire... Awesome isn't it, we can wipe our opponent supports in the backline very fast!
However those all are just some speculation and imagination. Later we will see, if Splinterlands players will take this Tasoshi Drakamoto as a force to reckon or just another good card in their line up.
