OLA is one of the largest 2 Wheeler EV brand in India, but the problem is its after sales service. Recently a lot of issues are coming up in the Ola EV scooter and thus the company is not actually doing a great job on the service side.

For example, one of my friend is having the OLA scooter and this some problem came. The OLA guys will give ask you to come to the service center as they don't have the pickup service. So that means you have to spend some money and take it to the service center. And then they will keep the scooter for a long time. My friend scooter was there for more than 3 weeks. And after that they will tell about the problem.
For him, they said the battery is died and they have to replace it. They asked him to pay 10% of the battery cost because he was changing for the first time. Next time he has to pay the full amount. Now a battery is the heart of EV scooter and if it dies, then you have to shell out a lot of money. So he eventually paid quite an amount to get it serviced and it took him more than 1 month.
As a normal vehicle, we van get it serviced in quite a less time because there are a lot of people in that space. Since the OLA is the one who takes care of the service, it's getting out of hand for them as the number of sales has increased.
And that's the problem with these businesses, they plan of increasing the sales but when the sales has increased, the after sales service takes a toll. They should have anticipated the sales and thus they should increase their service so that they can cater the demand of all the sales they have made till now.
I still feel the EV is a quite a new thing and we will see a lot of changes going forward. And that's why I am not buying any vehicle of the EV as of now untill it becomes quite good.
