Coffee is one of my earliest memories. I always remember that fragrant smell waking me up every morning and, although I didn't drink coffee at that time, the smell was already my familiar scent. Later, when I was about 10 years old, I was introduced to that first version of coffee, a little bit adapted for children, the homemade café con leche, with more milk than coffee; it was the ideal companion for my afternoon snacks, along with my chocolate chip cookies or vanilla cakes, sweet bread, to name a few of my companions next to that cup of café con leche.
In fact, now that I think about it, I think that's where I got my taste for coffee with milk, which I now usually ask for in the coffee shops I visit. But going back to the origin of my taste for coffee, it all started when I began to work, when my co-workers started to offer me some coffee in disposable cups in the office. In those moments there was a small break between all the employees, because it was coffee time, and as a way of trying to join those moments, I started to join the coffee hour, breaks that used to take place at mid-morning and mid-afternoon; besides, coffee was the perfect complement to combat the cold atmosphere of the offices.

From that moment on, coffee became more indispensable in my routines, I even integrated it more in my family life as an adult, turning it into a daily ritual, much more consciously, it was no longer just a matter of drinking my coffee with milk or black coffee when I felt like drinking it, but at least every morning. It is already something that helps me to start my days with spirit, it is that little pause that one makes before waking up definitely, to start a new day; so yes, I could say that coffee has become one of my favorite drinks, I describe it as my healthy addiction ha, ha, ha, ha, already in the present, in my grocery shopping, it is one of the first items that go in the shopping cart.
This is my participation in #STB Coffee Prompt Week 92 (Apr 27 - 29), greetings friends!
