Jane has lived at No. 13 Rizos Rd for over ten years. She has become so much attached to the house and even the street due to her long stay there. She knows virtually all the occupants of the various houses and can tell when a new tenant or stranger walks past her. That could also be said of other people living at the street, they know her and can also detect the sound of her Pathfinder keep from even afar. Such was how deep the connection is.
However, just as everyone was basking in the euphoria of a new year and anticipating new things to come by their way, Jane got her first package of the year; a new thing - a new owner of her rented building! The postman came and dropped the brown envelope and galloped away.
Out of curiosity, Jane swiftly went to see what was that only to retrieve the envelope, opened it and saw the letter from her the new owner - her new landlord.
Jane absorbed every bit of the letter with great caution. It sounded friendly from the opening paragraphs but the last paragraph threw her off guard. She has been given six months to look for alternative accomodation as the new owner will be coming with his family to occupy every flat available in the house.
The new year turned out to be a tasking one for Jane. How could she start now to look for a new house, a new home. Oh, she'll soon part ways with her beloved No. 13 Rizos Rd. That idea saddened her. She slowly walked towards his apartment, still contemplating what to do.
