Hello friends.
I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.
This is my application for the contest Reflection Hunters Contest - SMARP (Show Me A Reflection Picture) ~ Round 248 🎺 Announcement 🎺! by @olgavita
In spring, the rivers gain strength, absorbing all the water that runs from the meadows and forests. The water lay there in the form of snow all winter, and the faster spring develops, the faster the snow melts, and the rivers overflow their banks.
This is one of the most favorite times of the year for kayakers to go boating on the river.

Spring South Karelia, the end of April. The Uuxa River in the area of the tourist base "Three elements of Uuxa". Taiga, all around the taiga. The snow is almost completely gone from the forest. The river was saturated with water, flooding the banks.

What about the river?
Here's what I found on the internet:
The length of the river is 121 km, the catchment area is 1080 km2. The width of the river is from 10 to 50 meters. The forest cover of the catchment is 88%, the waterlogging is 6%, and the lake area is 5 %.
The river is rapid and popular with water tourists. The main obstacles of the river are located in the lower reaches (Pink elephant (Paw), Mill, Canyon, Temple, hydroelectric power station). The remains of a dismantled hydroelectric power station are visible on the threshold of the Temple. The threshold of the hydroelectric power station (Fifth Padun) also represents the remains of hydraulic structures, but unlike the Temple, it is not interesting for rafters because of the clutter of construction debris, except for periods of abnormally high water levels in flood conditions.
The river flows into Lake Ladoga near the village of Uuksu. There are several tourist bases along the coast closer to the mouth of the river.

Rafting on the river is organized on catamarans and takes 3 days in time. This very interesting event takes place in May.

I wish you all a successful hunt for shadow and reflection
