Hello everyone,I’m here today with something different. Most of the time, the only thing we think of when our clothes get stained by bleach is to throw them away.I know how unpleasant bleach stains are and talk of the discoloration, really annoying right? What if I showed you a cool way to disguise those stains? That would mean you wouldn’t have to throw those clothes away.It would help make those stains less noticeable as well as make you look super cool in your fashionable diyed outfit.
I tried being the cool cousin today by disguising the stains in my little cousin’s favorite bell jeans.
The materials I used were:
- White, Yellow and Green Yarn
- Needle
- a pair of scissors
- pen
Step 1
I wanted to make daisies to disguise the bleach stains so I drew the design on the stains with a pen.(It seems I’m becoming a daisy girl looking at how my last diy was also daisy designs)
Step 2
I started tracing the white part of the daisies with the white yarn using the needle.
Step 3
I changed the yarn from white to yellow and now traced the middle part of the daisies.
Step 4
I now switched to the green yarn and traced the stem and branches of the flower.
The result.
As a needleworker and an environmentalist, projects like these make me so happy because they make me get creative and also practice reuse from the three Rs.
Now my cousin doesnt have to discard her jeans anymore. She loves it and is already planning on wearing it out tonight.
I really enjoyed making this and it only took me about 30 minutes to finish.Don’t throw those stained clothes away, you can design the stains and wear them again.
Thank you for your time.
