After a very intensive week in Spain, I'm back home. I'm not totally fit yet but I'm getting there I hope, in the next days.
Today, I would like to welcome a new curator in our ouprick curation team. Welcome to @avdesing who joined our team recently. Together with @ph1102, @jesuslnrs and @palomap3 she forms the ourpick curation team who is doing a tremendous job in finding the little pearls among the hive post. Every day our curators go through all what is published on hive and are looking for some content that they find worth reading. In addition to picking these posts, they leave a meaningful comment each time. We believe that a comment from a real person can mean even more to an author that just an upvote. They are doing an amazing job and we encourage you to read the daily suggestions with the posts that were handpicked.
How does our curation work?
This brings me to a theme that I would like to clarify a bit because we had lately some very insistent demands from people that had a different vision of curation...
We concentrate all our hive power on the account @liotes.voter. People can also delegate to his account and get daily dividends in the form of LEN tokens. We pay 100% of the curation rewards that we generate to our delegators. The main objective of our curation is to find great content and for that we have our @ourpick curation team. Every day, they try to find a certain amount of posts that they deem worth reading. We use a big part of our voting power to support these handpicked posts. The remaining voting power is used mainly to support the members of the Liotes community. Our objective is to help our community members to grow their hive power. What people have to understand is that our votes are given manually according to the quality of the posts that are created by the community members.
Our curation activity is independent from any type of stake or delegation. Our curation team looks for posts mainly outside the community. We also see this as a way to attract new people to Liotes. The votes that are given to our community members are given only if we like the content that is created. To get curated by the liotes team, the only thing you need to do is to create interesting content...
