Splinterland: Arena Architect.
I have always mentioned in my post that having good and higher-level cards does not guarantee victories, but one has to make sure that they are constructing the team correctly, putting the right cards at right positions, cards that have an advantage as per the battle rules. Even if there is no advantage provided by the battle rules to the card, then at least there should be no disadvantage of using that card with that ruleset. Just imagine, that you used the card with "Taunt" ability when ruleset gives "Fury" ability or using "melee" monsters having sneak ability in "Fog of war" ruleset.
In both cases, even if the cards are good, they are not perfect for use with that ruleset. If the opponent is smart enough to play by the rules, then the opponent will be able to take advantage and will be able to defeat you, even if the opponent cards are not as good as yours. So this whole knowledge how to create a best possible team based on your cards on the given ruleset is definitely a science and giving the player the tittle of "Arena Architect." definitely suits the player.
This weeks Splinterland's Community Challenge focused on the concept of Arena Architect who creates the perfect team to win the battles. So as far my preference goes, I go with the "Kaylia Silverleaf" whose Bloodline Dominion gives the "Execute" ability.
As you see in above screenshot, as an arena architect, I have to create a team with 40 mana and team has a archon and other 5 monster. In this ruleset, I have to use 5 monsters instead of usual 6. So deducting the 4 mana of my archon, I have 36 mana for my 5 monsters.
I put "Skrag the gnaw" as tank, because it has nice health for tank, a good attack of 3, and if it gets defeated, it has a chance of poisoning the opponent.
The next 4 are as Thanalorian Blade, Silverleaf warlock, Sorrow Harvester and Grove Doomblade, that all have "elf" dominion so they have "Execute" ability.
And they also have individual abilities like Thanalorian Blade that have opportunity ability. Silverleaf warlock gives swiftness, Sorrow Harvester weakens opponent and Grove Doomblade have sneak attack and good choice for the tail.
So in round 1, I lost my tank, but I took 2 monster of opponents and poisoned one of the opponent monsters, so it look like my strategy worked.
At the start of the third round, opponent has only 1 monster live against my 4, so I easily won my battle.
I do not stop analysing my team and keep looking for the cards that I can add on my team. Even though I feel my Earth team is good but missing this level 1 Legandary card in lineup that come with 4 magic attack, made be to buy this cards
I did not spent much time to add this legendary card in my team.
Once, I added this card, then definitely I should be using this card baatle and for me , I am happy with the result as you can see in the below battle link.
