Definition of good health is very vast, when we talk about being fit and healthy, it does not limit to only physical health. One can be claimed as healthy when the person is mentally, emotionally and physically healthy.

If I have to quote myself on being healthy or not then I can say that I am not 100% fit and healthy on all of these parameters, but yes somewhere between 90% to 95% I am. On the look of it, physically I am healthy, I have absolutely no health issue. My back does give me a problem on and off, with the sciatica pain but now I have learned to do pain management and taking care of that. This is where I lose my 5 to 10%. Otherwise, my overall health is very good. Crossing the age of 50 and yet not being on single medication is a big achievement for me.

For all of this I do regular health checkups, do my yoga, exercise daily, take vitamin supplements to keep up with the mineral and vitamin depletion that occurs with age. Eat healthy and clean food and avoid all toxic and unhealthy foods. Sleep well, making sure my body gets good rests that it needs to rejuvenate. This is all for the physical health.

For my mental and emotional health, I do meditation and breathing exercise daily. Spend lot of time in nature, do things that makes me happy. Read, dance, spend time with friends and try to be in a positive state of being as much as possible.

I respect the life that I have received and always feel very grateful about it. I believe that the body I have received is a gift from the universe and I need to take good care of it at all times and not abuse it. Life is precious and we need to preserve it well. It's miserable to live with ailments and ill-health with a low quality life. There is no fun in living life in a sick and unhealthy manner.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I mean that's mind-blowing. I couldn't even imagine doing this, seems to be very tough. But it's really good that you are really health conscious and exercise to maintain your physique, I'm really impressed!!

Thank you, as we age we become more and more mindful about our health

This is really impressive ma'am, I love how you are really intentional about your health and well being even at your age. I am motivated 💪

Thank you @ozd, having good health at old age is important and that does not happen suddenly, it builds up over years.

Definitely a big achievement to cross the age of 50 and still yet not be on a single medication. It's another similarity you share with my mom. She doesn't necessarily exercise per se but does a lot of activities on a day to day basis and walks quite a lot too. I think good health is something to nurture when we have it because it's the main foundation through which we experience life.

Thank you so much. I am sure your Mother is a big inspiration to you in your life and you have picked up so much good from her. It's so important to be fit in the old age and being active. I have seen old people getting so helpless with health conditions and that scares me the most.

You're welcome. I think old age does come with a comfort that old people try to lean on so much until it becomes detrimental to their health. Finding ways to stay young, especially in terms of mindset, helps a lot too.

I also believe that physical activity is actually something that, if done consistently, is good for your health, but also for your mind. It's not correct to say that physical activity only helps improve our physique.

Absolutely, physical exercise plays a big role in mental health. When you body is active and healthy, automatically your mind feels good and your mental health is boosted.

I love how you are intentional about your physical and mental health. That's a good one. Keep it up friend 👍

Some people living healthy don't maintain and appreciate it until they are unable to perform as usual. Good you don't give that chance by doing the necessary things your body requires keep it up

Good health is not one time job, it's a life long continuous process that we have to keep working on

Of course but many don't care until down
