Here is my weekly status and giveaway. I also talk about an OST track that I like. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway. I chose a track from a game that I played in the past. I am putting this a day earlier due to LPUD tomorrow.
Palace of Destruction
I chose Palace of Destruction as this week's track because I was thinking of this track as the week was ending. I loved listening to this track, and it's amazing how a track from a game first released in 1989 had this track. The 2nd video above is the original version from back then. The first one is the one that I listen to the most, and I think is the best version of this track, as it uses the Special Arranged Version of the original version later in the remake of Ys 1 and 2. Ys 1 and 2 aren't very long games, but as the first game where Adol appears, it makes a very lasting impression. It was the beginning of the adventures that the entire Ys series follows. One thing to note is that anyone listening to this beforehand would probably think that this is a final dungeon theme, but it isn't.
I think about Feena when I see hear this track. Feena is the person you find at the end of the dungeon that plays this track. When I first found her, and because she doesn't have her memory, you would never expect what her real identity was. I have talked about her in one of my previous posts, but the ending of Ys 2 always sticks to me because of how emotional Feena was. The image comes from the wiki for Feena.

Current Status
I gained 122k STARBITS over the past week. There were two fewer days, and there were a few days when I couldn't play as much. The STARBIT millionaire missions are carrying me through this. It also looks like they made it so you can't play Band Auditions after you unlock all the spots. It is too bad as I liked doing that mission as a no-ego mission to get a nice time played at night. I didn't get anything great from my pack openings this week.
Current Ranking
My rank went up by 2, and it looks like my time played went up as well. I did longer missions for most of the week, but I don't know how my time played will look now that Band Audition can't be done.

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.
- Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
- Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
- Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
- Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
- If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
- If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
- Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards- Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
- When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
- Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
