Namaste!
I saw this herb for the first time last year at the beginning of summer, even then these small yellow buds visible on it looked like they were ready to bloom. I thought I would take some good pictures of them when they bloom but don't know why I could not see them in bloom. Then this summer I saw this plant again on my way of walking, so I marked its place and kept watching it grow and decided when these tiny yellow flowers bloom on it, I would take pictures of it and show it to you all. But this time also I did not see this bud blooming like a flower whereas, at the peak of growth, these green pods containing its seeds (I guess) have also now fully grown. So I thought it would be better to bring this amazing herb in front of you all instead of postponing it to the next season.
So here I present, Cleome Viscosa which is also known as Asian Spiderflower or Tick Weed. It is a fast-growing wild weed favouring humid, that grows on a wide variety of soils. The entire plant, its leaves, seeds, and roots are widely used in traditional medicines. It is used as an appetite stimulant in food, Its leaves are also used externally to apply on wounds. And apart from this, this plant is used in many ways, for more detailed information of which I would say that you should search its name yourself and read about its benefits. You'll be surprised! :)

Now let's talk about its look, I felt some of its buds were very close to blooming but I don't know why I did not see even a single one blooming like a flower. Look at that bud in the picture below, it looks as if it has just turned its back on me, even though I haven't done anything like that. LOL!

By the way, while writing this, I thought that maybe it blooms at night? There are some buds which bloom at night and as soon as the sun rises, they close their petals again like a bud. Well, it's just a theory!

By the way, I also found this plant attractive because of the 5 leaflet shape of its leaves which looks like a miniature version of the leaves of a papaya tree. I am sure you all have seen it and you too will be able to connect it with them. :)
Although it must have grown and bloomed many times in a year and a half, but in this story of mine you can say that I have waited a long year and a half for it to be in its best form. 💚💮💚
