First off, I would like to clarify that it was a "TRAVEL WITHOUT MONEY" affair for me. I had only 100 INR for emergency expenses and with that I managed to make a to and fro journey. I was ecstatic from the day one. I was quite right in my anticipation that in February I should not come down to Prayagraj, because by that time winter would fade out and people would flock to Mahakumbh en masse, and exactly that happened.
I made this tour on 21st Jan and the footfall on that day was around 40 Lakhs as per the Govt data. It was quite a pleasant journey. I managed to go via Train without a ticket. And I was Lucky enough to not have been chased by TTE. Hey, I must clarify that you should not try this. I did not have money and I had a strong desire to take a dip in the Holy Sangam in Prayagraj, so I considered the risk and I was well prepared to mitigate it.
I also pay my deepest condolences to people who lost their lives during Mahakumbh for that unfortunate stampede. The gathering was unprecedented in February to be precise.
I took the holy dip on a non-auspicious day as per the plan. Because I am averse to crowded places. And my way of spiritualism is aa bit different where I seek to explore the consciousness more than the external side of spiritual and religious practices. That said, I would always encourage you to become a part of Kumbh or Mahamubh whenever you can. Becuase it is also about our cultural aspects of life.
Someone rightly said there were crores of people with crores of different aspects and aspirations of life and spiritual practices.
For me it was the exploration of Saraswati jee(एक खोज सरस्वती जी की (सुषुम्ना नाड़ी की)). Yes, what we see is the sangam of Ganga jee and Yamuna jee.....Saraswati jee is invisible.
It's like eeda nadi(इड़ा नाड़ी) and pingla naadi(पिंगला नाड़ी), sushumna(सुषुम्ना नाड़ी) is explored by us through meditation, breathing exercises, etc.
Everything is relatable, what is happening inside our body on a daily basis, and what is happening in the physical world, in the external world. Sanagam is ideally the meeting point of Ganga jee, Yamuna jee and Saraswati jee. While Ganga jee and Yamuna jee are glaringly visible, Saraswati jee is invisible, but the concept of sangam does encompass Saraswati jee as well.
Now let's come back to our breathing. Every day, in fact every second we breathe, we have often observed that our left and right nostrils are at play intermittently. But do you know that when breathing changes from the right to the left nostril and vice versa, it goes through the pingala naadi(सुषुम्ना नाड़ी) for very short time. Since we do not pay attention to our breathing, we do not notice it.
Those who are into spirituality, those who are into meditation can understand what I am saying, the sushumna naadi(सुषुम्ना नाड़ी) is so subtle that only with a higher consciousness we can catch it. Our pursuit of spiritualism and conscious plane is all about sushumna naadi(सुषुम्ना नाड़ी), that is saraswati jee.
I would produce the quote of Sant Kabir jee--
In our day-to-day life, when we remain focused completely(without being invaded by any other thought) what we do, and not engulfed by any random thought, we develop that सुक्ष्म दृष्टि to find that sushumna naadi(सुषुम्ना नाड़ी), that is saraswati.
To be continued........
