Greetings, dear friends at Feel Good. Here I share my entry for contest #81 with a spectacle, or rather one of the many phenomena that exist in our universe. I was at the office where I work, talking to my wife on the phone, when she asked me if I had seen what was happening in the sky. She literally said, “Did you see what the sun looks like?” To be honest, I had no idea what she was talking about, but when I went outside to look, this is what I saw.
Saludos estimados amigos de Feel Good. Aquí les comparto mi entrada al concurso #81 con un espectáculo, o mejor dicho un fenómeno de tantos que existen en nuestro universo. Estaba en la oficina donde trabajo y hablando con mi esposa por teléfono me pregunto que, si había visto lo que estaba ocurriendo en el cielo, literalmente me dijo: ¡viste como está el sol! La verdad ni tenia idea de lo que me estaba hablando y cuando sali a ver me encontré con esto.
I rushed to get my phone to capture this moment. I had never seen it with my own eyes, only in photos taken by other people. I think that call was just right for me to enjoy a “solar halo” for the first time.
Corrí a buscar el teléfono para capturar este momento. Nunca lo había visto con mis propios ojos, si en fotos, pero tomadas por otras personas, creo que esa llamada era justa para yo disfrutar por primera vez de un “Halo solar”.
I don't know why, but I always miss these events, such as eclipses, meteor showers, supermoons, and all that, but this time I managed to take my photos at just the right moment. Nature holds so many events on land, in space, and at sea that many of them may never even be discovered, but I am very impressed that we sleep beneath and above these events.
No sé por qué motivo, pero siempre me pierdo estos eventos, como eclipses, lluvia de estrellas, super lunas y todo eso, pero esta vez a tiempo preciso logre tomarme mis fotos, la naturaleza guarda tantos eventos tanto en tierra, espacio y mar que incluso muchos de ellos nunca quizá sean descubiertos, pero me impresiona mucho que dormimos debajo y encima estos eventos.
Now that I am writing this post, I remember that there is the same phenomenon but at night, called a “lunar halo,” and I managed to see it a few months ago. to be honest, it doesn't look as impressive at night as it does during the day. The truth is that I'm going to keep these photos as best I can. They were unique shots, and with my bad luck when it comes to seeing events, I don't know when I'll see a solar halo like this again. It looked so huge above me that it seemed like a dome, and it kept getting bigger and bigger until the magic passed and it was lost in infinity.
Ahora que escribo este post voy recordando que hay el mismo fenómeno pero por las noches, que se llama “Halo lunar” y logre verlo hace algunos meses, la verdad por la noche no se ve tan impresionante como el día, lo cierto que es estas fotos las voy a guardar lo mejor posible, fueron unas tomas únicas y con mi mala suerte que tengo para ver eventos no se cuando volveré a ver un halo solar como este, se veía tan gigante encima de mí que parecía una cúpula o un domo y cada vez se hacia mas grande, hasta que la magia paso y se perdió en el infinito.
