The goodness of God is what God wants us to share to the people of the world. Why are we tired of doing what is good? We should not be tired of doing good as long as we have the ability. It is not what we do outside our ability. It is what we do with the ability that we have. When talking about ability, that is you give to someone as much as you have the ability to give. For instance, you have just received your salary of about a hundred and fifty thousand naira. Then you would have to give maybe fifty thousand for food. And then you will send twenty thousand for your aged parents upkeep. Also there are some repairs to make in your house that might cost about thirty thousand. You yourself will need to keep like twenty thousand for gas for your vehicle. So, you can only help someone who needs ten or twenty thousand naira. If someone needs fifty thousand from your hand that is beyond your ability.
It is the commandment of God that we do good to others. Let us do it not because we love doing it but because Jesus has commanded us to do so. Doing good works should not be limited to people who are of our own relatives, we should extend our good works to others. The Bible says that we should do good to all men.
