Shadows In The House
A few days ago I visited a historical place in the central area of Caracas. As we were getting ready to enter, the guides divided us into groups and gave us a short talk on how the rules work in the Casa Natal de Bolivar. At the beginning of the tour, the guide told us the history. We walked through the spaces of the colonial house, as we went deeper, my mind was moving as she narrated some of the events that took place in that place. When we reached the courtyard, we found a small water well that reminded us that, in the past, the wealthiest houses had water wells in their courtyards for the needs of the family.

Sombras En La Casa
Hace días visité un lugar histórico por el casco central de Caracas. Mientras nos preparábamos para entrar, los guías nos dividieron en grupos y nos dieron una pequeña charla de cómo funcionan las normas en la Casa Natal de Bolívar. Al comenzar el recorrido, el guía nos contaba la historia. Caminamos por los espacios de la casa colonial, mientras que nos adentrábamos más, mi mente se iba trasladando a media que ella narraba algunos hechos que acaecieron en ese lugar. Al llegar al patio, nos encontramos con un pequeño pozo de agua que nos hizo recordar que, antiguamente, las casas más pudientes tenían en sus patios pozos de agua para la necesidad de la familia.
While the guide was telling the story, he invited the visitors to interact with the water pump to recreate those moments, this is how many people participated, while this was happening I was taking some pictures of the place, after a few laps I returned to the well and took some images, which I loved the results I saw in them, I found some shadows that the lens of my camera captured in those moments.
Mientras que el guía contaba, invito a los visitantes a que interactuarán con la bomba de agua para recrear aquellos momentos, es así como muchas personas participaron, mientras esto acontecía yo fui tomando algunas imágenes del lugar, después de unas vueltas volvía al pozo y tomé algunas imágenes, que me encantaron por los resultados que vi en ellas, encontré algunas sombras que el lente de mi cámara capto en esos momentos.
My tour was very interesting, and beneficial, it is always good to meet with the past to always remember where we come from, I was delighted to see many children, who remained attentive to hear the stories and exploits of patriotic heroes.
Mi paseo resultó muy interesante, y beneficioso, siempre es bueno encontrarnos con el pasado para recordar siempre de dónde venimos, me encantó ver muchos niños, que se mantuvieron atentos al escuchar las historias y proezas de los héroes patrióticos.
