Happy Monday, Hivers❗
Another week, another grind. I hope you all had a great start to your day. Today I want to share a story about a very simple but happy weekend with my daughter and my two nieces.
I remembered that we had a small kids' trampoline tucked away in storage. It had been there for a while, so we decided to take it out and put it together.
We placed it right outside the house in the nice shade under our big mango tree. While I was cleaning the dust off, our cat came over to watch. It looked very curious and sat right by the edge. I think our cat wanted to be the first one to try jumping on it. 😁
After that, I decided to take a quick break. I grabbed my favorite purple teddy bear to use as a pillow and laid down on the bouncy mat. It was so peaceful lying there.

When I looked up, I could see the sunlight peeking through the green mango leaves. I could also see our basketball hoop and a chicken wandering around the yard nearby. It was the perfect spot to relax. 🥰

Later that afternoon, my nieces came to visit. We surprised them with the trampoline and they were so excited. However, the youngest niece decided she was the boss of the fun. she loved the trampoline so much that she would not let her older sister join in. To keep her sister away, she gathered her Pikachu and Charmander toys and spread them all over the mat to block the space. 😁
She only wanted to play with her cousin, which is my daughter. She even told me that I was forbidden from getting back on again. We all had a good laugh watching her guard her new kingdom.

It was a simple weekend, but seeing the kids so happy was the best way to spend my time. Even though it also includes me being forbidden to use my own trampoline. 😁
