I only used it to try how it works. I don’t like it because I love to do my own research and decide by myself, but it’s useful as a reference.

It can be a real time saver in some situations. I see my daughter using it to prepare her exams. She generats summaries according to her learning objectives and like that she saves a lot of time.

Yes, as a time saver it is unquestionable. I wish I had had a tool like that when I studied! 😁

Thank you! ☺️

Wow it's amazing what chatgpt could do. Didn't know it could create a website with coding. I use it sometimes to plan my vacation itinerary, but sometimes it's not that accurate, so I will cross check with Google.

It was really amazing how easy it was to create a website with chatgpt. I could even tell what I wanted to change and it adapted the code accordingly.

I should try it someday!

Thanks!

No i am not using AI. But would surely want to try out.
Not sure where to start , someday will figure out where i want to use it.
I surely don't want to use to create posts.

There are many ways to use it in a constructive manner. My daughter uses it to prepare her exams. I use it to code websites or to generate licence free images...

Sadly I am not using it hardly at all, even though it could be useful for many things and be the future. When I have tried to use it and test it, usually it either refuses to answer my questions properly (censored?) when discussing science or things and for technical questions or charting (eg. in excel) it hasnt been any use, giving no good answers or usefulness. I hope I can find time to explore it more though.

It takes some time to understand how to formulate good prompts. The AI depends on precise inputs to work in the best manner.

I currently use it for studying, as it is easier to understand the content and faster than spending hours watching YouTube.

It can be such a time saver when you just need to sum up something you need to study.

Not only that, but nowadays it's much easier to divide it into topics to study, which, as you said, saves a lot of time.

I thought they'd stopped with the Liotes videos. I'm glad they're working LOL.
Regarding the question, I think I've been using AI a lot for image generation and some design ideas.

That's indeed an interesting usage of AI

I use it very little, last week I used it to study. I was having trouble implementing a code and I used AI to do it, but even AI couldn't do it, hehehe. Here at Hive I've never used it, I think I'm the archaic type, sometimes I even forget it exists.

I was quite amazed how I managed to use it for coding. I created a website with the thing I wanted to do in no time.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I use it a lot to summarize some complex texts of something I'm studying and to translate texts from one language to another. Sometimes when I'm in doubt about grammar and punctuation errors, I also use it to correct those errors.

I use it a lot to summarize some complex texts of something I'm studying

This can be an amazing time saver I believe. I see a lot of people using it for that.

Yeah I do it alot especially at work.
Part of my KPI at work is to perform process enhancement which uses AI tools to help achieve those things! 😁

Seems AI has already reached your workplace ;-)

Yeah it has and I believed that it is rapidly taking over some of the work environment, no just my company!

Thank you very much! 😊

I've used it very little, oddly enough, I like to put my head to work. So when it comes to using AI for texts or searches, I hardly use it, but I do like to use it sometimes to generate images, like https://ideogram.ai/ does.

Even when it comes to translating, I prefer to use google translate rather than ask chatGPT to translate, so as to avoid any problems here too.

Using for AI to create licence free images seems a very good usage in my opinion.

We fully agree then 🤝

AI is a very interesting topic with great potential for both good uses and bad. I do not really use AI for what it was intended. There is a program call Copilot preloaded on my windows laptop. I think it is a form of AI but I use it more like google search than actual AI asking it questions and getting detailed answers. I have not tried to have it create anything for me yet but I would like to learn more about what it can do to assist me in my daily processes which may be able to reduce the time I spend on the computer freeing my time for other items.

You are right Copilot is an AI application I believe. It tends to invade our workplace without us realy realizing it :-)

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I haven't really used it yet. I feel like I want to spend some time figuring it out so I don't forget what I'm doing each time but I just don't have that time available right now. Maybe in a couple of months....

It's a big field to jump into. I tried it for image generation and I litterally spent tens of hours finding out how it worked...

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

No way!

Using AI can make me relax my mind. It has nothing to offer me other than repetitive work or algorithms.

Thinking work stays with me, if at some point I need to perform a purely robotic routine, I will go and find out.

I also like to use my brain but in my case, it really helped me to create a code for my website without needing to look up many functions. So it's a time saver in some cases and it can teach you things as well.

It makes sense! As long as you can learn from it, of course!

If we are talking about ChatGPT, then I don't use it and I don't know how to use it. I use Grammarly free version to correct the silly mistakes in my writing. I think it's a kind of AI, isn't it? I use it to shorten a paragraph sometimes, or to improve it!

When we are dependent of our devices for almost everything, aren't those kind of AI?

So, I think we are using AI, knowingly or unknowingly!

#aliveandthriving

We all are using the algorithm of AI already without knowing it. I believe that most web 2.0 application use it.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

This one is easy, I haven't used it much. Just played a bit with chatgpt / imagecreation utilizing ai

It's a whole world and I was sceptical at first but I've found some use cases where it can really be a time saver.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Although I see great potential in it and I am very favorable, I have not used it much yet.

I haven't used it much either but I see my kids use it for school on a regular basis. Instead of googling things, they now use chatgpt...

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I do use AI regularly for my studies.

AI can be a real helper for studying. My kids use it on a regular basis for that.

You cannot avoid AI, it's everywhere and you don't even know you are using AI. I use bing and co-pilot is an essential part of it, so when I search something, it gets me normal results and also AI based solutions.
Mostly, I need to learn programming and coding.

it's everywhere and you don't even know you are using AI

You are absolutely right. There is AI in almost any algorithm that we use....

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

We keep calling it AI, but it's really machine learning :/ Anyhow, I use Stable Diffusion occasionally for image generation.

That's definitely true. That machine learns from the database it gets fed. I also use it for image generation and it can give great results.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I feel a bit behind the times, but I haven't used it at all.

Probably you have used it without knowing it when you surf through web 2.0 applications for example. It's AI algorithms that define what comes into your feed...

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Not really, but I use it more around this week to create a character. I can imagine it but it's hard to draw it myself 😂. I used it to make people see what I imagined. It's easier than I try to draw and we just laugh together 🤣. I need to learn more to draw what I imagined !LOL

Oh that's an interesting usage. I've tried to do it as well but the results weren't that satisfactory :-)

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Yes, I use Artificial Intelligence on a regular basis.
I mainly use it to improve efficiency in decision making in my work, such as in data analysis, forecasting and automation of repetitive tasks.

I believe that AI should play a role in most of our workplaces. It's a tool that can be a real time saver.

At the moment, I use AI sparingly to create digital images. In the future I hope that there will be an AI language tutor I can converse with. This would make learning a new language easier.

That's a good idea. Maybe we won't need language teachers anymore...

I do not use AI at all for my daily life. I have considered using it to make a few things easier, but I have never gotten around to it.

I was also reluctant but in some cases it's much easier to ask a question to AI than to try to google for an answer.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I just like to experiment with AI sometimes recreationally or when I'm feeling extra creative/funny.

To date, this has been our best creation.

1000000221.jpg

That's cool :-)

If you consider Grammarly as an AI, then it also gives me suggestions for the grammar mistakes in my posts, other than that I only use ChatGPT a few times only.

I'm not sure about how Grammarly works. I suppose it could be using AI.

AI is saving my ass literally.
I work with programming: my life before ai -> Google what is the library in python to parse excel sheets-> read tutorials after tutorials and then HA! Now I can execute a function for that ... then now -> Chatgpt, tell me a library in Python to parse Excel sheets and give me an example of code that reads a sheet with 3 tabs to extract the first column of each...after 10 seconds here is a code that we can adapt for our needs lol *DISCLAIMER I used this example because I think in Pandas library( a known excel manipulator library) all day long in my work lol it is the first example that I thought about it.

I've used AI to create a simple website with Javascript, html and css and AI generated this page within seconds. I didn't have to get into the different functions and learn how they work and how to write them. It can be such a time saver...

Yes for sure! Javascript , python and some other popular languages are easier!!. But I will be frank that I had some difficulties with nextflow code there! Maybe with the premium version is better? Also Im curious to test github copilot! I heard good reviews about it.

I am using occasionally to get information on some topic for office work. I must sat its rare.

It's another way to google I believe.

Do you use Artificial Intelligence on a regular basis? And for what do you use it?

We are approaching a time where everyone will use AI on a regular basis, as it will be integrate into searches, news articles... pretty much everything online will have some AI application. Already, Amazon has an AI generated summary of all the user reviews. Reading this AI generated text summary saves a lot of time reading hundreds of reviews.

AI is used everyday without us realizing it...

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Not really. I haven't really needed to use it yet.

Probably you used AI already without realizing it ;-)

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Used it for my work. It simplifies alot of mundane task.

It can be really helpful in some cases.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I use it really often. I've found it really helpful in helping to troubleshoot with code and excel formulas. Of course, the results need quite a bit of tweaking and experimenting but I'll eventually get it right.

It can be a really usefull tool that saves a lot of time that we would spend on finding out how to do things.

Being a video editor, I use Adobe Premiere almost daily. It has some AI features that I use on occasion (especially when trying to clean up audio).

There is AI almost everywhere :-)

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I can't think of anything I am currently using in regard to AI utilization.

I think sooner or later we will use it on a daily basis.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

I have not used AI for anything so far. But I do know of people who use it in some areas and find it useful.

More and more people discover it's utility I think.

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Interesting question. Yeah, I started using it early on when pictures were still weird, now I always take a picture with AI, usually for threetunetuesday posts, and for HPUD posts. But I always put a link to it. I do it in Night Caffe Creator.
I've also been using Gramarly Pro for a couple of weeks, mainly for spelling, and a lot of times it suggests I reverse words, I think that's what their AI does.
And we've set up a local one at work, and now we're fattening it up with texts, mainly to learn the technology. Well, for pictures the local AI is not worth it, on the latest i9 processor with a 64 GB Nvidia card it takes about an hour to take a picture, it's much faster online.
Oh, and music, I use Boomy and Suno here. One of my songs in Suno :) https://suno.com/song/f88f44fa-85bd-45dd-9f1a-5dfe15eab347

I haven't used it to create music but I think this would be a great way of doing for somebody like me who is totally bad at everything musical :-)

3 credits were added for the Liotes Ranking

Frankly, probably I should use it more as a tool, but I don't as much... yet. I mostly tested a few things in every area, from searching, translation, summarizing, to image creation, to video production, and even to code generation. But nothing that keep using, for the time being, other than the integrated AI tools from PeakD.

Yeah, creating a functional website shouldn't be difficult for ChatGPT, providing it can interpret the requests correctly.

providing it can interpret the requests correctly.

I realized that it really matters how you formulate your prompts and if you know some coding already, you will be more concise and the result will be better.
